    Greeting to you from Bangladesh Doctor. I’m a Transfem and we legally have no rights in our country. So, we’re using online information for medical help and doing DIY HRT therapy. It would be so much better if you showed us more step by step for transgender minorities who are living in developing countries. I’ve been personally taking bicalon and gynova through my online research. Hope you will continue to make videos regarding feminising HRT cause believe me it helps us a LOT! Love your videos. ❤

      @@HealingwithHEALORI’ve been taking Bicalutamide 2 times weekly for a month with 2mg estrogen. Now since I’ve shifted to 4mg estro daily I was thinking whether or not should I increase my dosage for Bicalutamide too and go for three times a week from two times a week? I’m really confused. Could you please help?

      @@niverahamed8920 twice a week dose is enough as bicalutamide has a very long half-life. Higher dose only increases risk of liver toxicity and is not advisable.

    I am also a doctor candidate, but I am only in my 1st grade. I cannot start medical treatment because violence against trans women is common where I live. Should I consume artichokes so that bicalutamide does not harm my liver?

    • @HealingwithHEALOR
      @HealingwithHEALOR  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for your comment. The data on artichokes is very limited when it comes to improving liver function or protecting against liver disease. If you are on bicalutamide you should get regular liver panel to look for any signs of liver inflammation. Here are some of the supplements you should avoid if you have liver disease

    • @HealingwithHEALOR

      Thank you for your question. This is more of a general guideline as spironolactone is much more safer medication then bicalutamide in individuals over the age of 35. If your liver tests are normal and you do not drink this can be taken. Best would be to discuss with your doctor

    Hello Doc Greetings from Philippines how many days per week is the intervals in taking Bicalutamude 50mg?

    • @HealingwithHEALOR
      @HealingwithHEALOR  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your comment. That is a difficult question to answer since I do not know how old you are and what your testosterone levels are. The goal is to suppress androgenic production. Once to twice weekly dose is more than enough for most individuals, higher doses cause more liver toxicity without any additional benefits

    Sir please tell bicalutamide effects on heart??

    • @HealingwithHEALOR
      @HealingwithHEALOR  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your comment. Most of the data we have comes from men who were treated with prostate cancer with bicalutamide and other LHRH agonists such as lupron. over suppression of androgen is associated with an increased rate of cardiac chest pain and congestive heart failure. This is not surprising since androgens such as testosterone play important role in increasing blood flow to the coronary arteries. Most of the side effects also happened in individuals who were taking bicalutamide 50 mg daily or more in combination with other androgen blockers. if you have cardiac disease or congestive heart failure you should discuss this with your doctor before starting this medication and stay on the lowest possible dose. Once or twice a week dose should be adequate for feminization therapy.

      That is not something I would recommend considering some serious side effects with this medication. You may be suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome or severe insulin resistance. There may be other issues at play such as underlying autoimmune disorders or thyroid problems. I encourage you to get tested for thyroid problems and autoimmune disorders such as lupus. A safer medication may be topical finasteride however this is not recommended for woman in the reproductive age group. Since I do not know much about your medical problems I am unable to offer you more detailed advise. Highly recommend speaking to your doctor about this
