I swear on my life I met this man in Northern BC in 2010 at a secluded hot spring called Liard River Hot springs. He said his name was Bear and lived in California. I was playing guitar, 3am in the morning roughly and in walked a couple to the hot spring I was at. I was working there as a 16 year old summer student. Before they left, Bear thanked me for playing while they were wading and asked if he could play me something. Imagine my surprise when he played an amazing classical piece.. wow. Absolutely mind blown. Was looking up who composed the god of war Ragnarok main theme and I started crying when I saw the picture of him. Immediately started watching this. I could be wrong, but I'm CERTAIN this is him.
This was an amazing story! And I had to try and find some resolution for you. I showed Bear your story and alas he unfortunately said he has never been to northern BC. So it wasn't him. He sends his regards though as it sounds like an incredible moment. The real question is, where is this Bear lookalike!? :) - Kaya
This guy is my hero. I don’t read or write music, but have composed the music for all projects using pc programs and simulated instruments. His viewpoint is very insightful.
I love how he's endlessly personable while being incredibly professional about his craft. If I ever get my stories written and they're ever optioned for film or TV adaptation, I'm seeking him out.
