Make a Leather Collar with the Bleed Knot | DIY leather and paracord

- Make your own handmade leather dog collar! In this video, you can see how to do this with the 'bleed knot' technique. We embellish this design by braiding 2 types of paracord through the leather and finishing with a micro cord whipping.
The bleed knot, sometimes also called 'blood knot', creates the illusion of braided leather while the leather is in one piece. You do this by making cuts in the leather and pulling the leather through this cut.

Hi! You're welcome! This works on Biothane too, but it can be harder to do because of how stiff biothane can be.

bv. een halsband van 45 cm: 45 x 3,4 = 150 cm leer
Welche Breite von dem Leder habt ihr verwendet? Und gibt es ungefähre Richtwerte welche Länge an Leder ich für den entsprechenden Halsumfang brauche?

Kann man dies genau so einfach mit Biothane machen anstatt mit Leder?
Nein, leider ist Biothan in diesem Bereich schwieriger. Außerdem gibt es noch keinen Konsens über die Sicherheit. BioThane hat eine Nylon-Innenseite, die dann jedes Mal aufgeschnitten wird.
