Peter is the most realis person that has ever been on this show. His plan probably was to get to know Rachel outside of the show for a few months than propose and get married, their is nothing wrong with that.

She did say he reminded her of her 5 year relationship. She said she had dated many Peters. She is clearly crying for all those past experiences as well. Not just this one. He also got emotional talking about his ex at one of the dates and how he felt he held back from loving her fully. He’s clearly realising he hadn’t changed much and is again letting a good girl go. They’re both not just crying for this particular loss but all other loses in the past and possibly future ones (in Peter’s sake). I personally feel she chose the right guy. Bryan loves her, and she loves him. Despite being drawn to “the Peters”.

That was hands down the worst line of the season. I saw her in such a different light after she said that. And I LOVED her and supported her up until then. I still think she's badass, but she really didn't even acknowledge her fiancé, just the ring. Yep, sounds like love to me. *Eye roll*. Won't last. Brian will wise up and see through it. He's 37 years old and no fool I'm sure. I actually feel bad for him. Even in interviews she never talks about him or how amazing he is...she just shows off her ring and says "call me your fiancé". Brutal. This poor guy.
I'd have to disagree. I was not in support of her in the beginning of the show, because I felt as if Raven should've gotten the spot. As Rachel's season progressed I began to lighten up about the idea of her being the Bachelorette. I could see how the line "Gimme that ring." would be a turn off for most. Yet, the way that I see it is more as a witty statement. She clearly acknowledged her fiance. I don't know if she is in love with Bryan, but I could definitely say that in that particular incident that she was just extremely excited to become his fiance. A ring is just a symbol of that love, and she was excited to wear it! Also, I don't know what interview you are talking about, but when I've watched the interviews with her talking about Bryan she does nothing but gushes over him... I was team Peter the whole season. This scene always made me emotional. I always thought she made the wrong decision. Now that I am older and looking back at this, she made the right decision with Bryan. No doubt her and Peter loved each other. You can't tell me they didn't love each other. But Peter wasn't ready. They were on different pages. I think Peter is still single, living the bachelor life. Atleast he was the last time I was on his page. If she had chose him, I doubt they would be together. This reminds me of that young love. That first love that you never forget but you know it wasn't right for you. Its not that forever. I thought she gave up on him, but he let her go. I always knew she settled for Bryan. If Peter wanted marriage he would’ve been her choice, hands down. They had so much more chemistry, and her family preferred him over Bryan. I remember him getting up in the middle of a converstion as Rachel’s sister was grilling him, and he couldn’t handle it. And if you watch the first episode, Bryan seemed so inauthentic; making out every second rather than having a real conversation with her, and using his sex appeal as leverage. He was an opportunist and him asking for spousal support confirms that; a trophy husband. Maybe they grew to have real love for each other when they got married, but that relationship was doomed from the start. I was never a fan of his. I really like Rachel though, I wish her the best moving forward.
Peter did not want Rachel. That is the bottom line. No man ever has a problem committing to a woman he wants. If a man wants you, he will commit. No woman should have to beg a man to commit to her. She put herself out there for a reason. And he couldn't deliver. This break up was definitely longer than what we are seeing. After they kiss the first time and before he says I love you Rachel there is editing there. Yup was probably a lot of tears that probably was too much to be shown.
Also we didnt see the part where she says what am i supposed to do... Apparently they were there for almost 4hrs!! I think they edited it down cause they didnt want to make her engagement to look like a total sham... but who knows... WHAT I DO KNOW is i would pay a shit ton of money for all the Pachel footage...
I see Peter's point. It's only been 2 months and that too in a fantasy type of setting. If it were only 2 months in a normal life setting, then maybe he could be ready to propose, but he's not sure what life would look like with her in the real world and he needed time to explore that. Rachel’s ego/pride was bruised when Peter wouldn’t propose on the show . Peter just wanted for them to take time to get to know each other more before proposing . The irony is that she waited for 2 years before marrying Bryan. If she had chosen Peter they likely would have been engaged within 6 months and married within a year . She was mean to him during the reunion show because of her hurt pride. That just shows how deep her feelings were for Peter. If she loved Bryan, she would t have cared so much !

It's sad because I truly believe they would have made a great couple. I am still shocked it's not Peter, but at the end of the day this is about what Rachel wants and she wanted someone who was sure and ready for marriage. Y'all gotta understand Peter, he is not one to make permanent life long decisions based on an emotional/physical based tv show alone. Maybe he wanted to try the bachelorette to see if it were possible. But he is not able to, especially when he saw with his own eyes how attached Rachel was to the show, and to someone like Brian who comes off as fake, is from Miami (the city of fake), and likes to be on reality tv shows. Although he loved her to death, he still saw right through her. He was hoping she would understand him and give him a chance based on a real-world perspective. He may have even changed his mind and proposed had she shown that she was in it for love and not just a tv show/ring, but she wanted to live the bachelorette fairy tale dream and win that ring. He even told her, "TAKE A CHANCE" he even said "You know where to find me if you change your mind" he was giving her ALL kinds of chance to take a risk with him. He made up his mind that he wasn't going to take a risk without her taking a risk. Was it worth it in the end? Only time will tell. Peter understands that there is more to love than a ring and a show. He wanted forever with her even if it meant sacrificing what he believed in because he said he would propose if that meant she would stay with him even though it goes against his belief in perfect timing(aka dump Bryan). But she wasn't willing to sacrifice why she came on the show which was for a guaranteed proposal/ring above all else.

From her first interaction with Bryan, it was clear that he was the one for Rachel. Anyone coming with this bullshit that she “chose the ring over true love” or anything similar is dumb. She had more with Bryan in my opinion and just because it was hard to let Peter go, that doesn’t mean she felt more for him. At the end of the day, him not knowing what he wanted at that point doesn’t mean like some of you are saying that in a bit after the show ended he’d propose. She went with her gut and I’m glad. You know what the irony( if I can call it that)in all of this is. That we saw a journey to love between Rachel and Peter from the beginning to the very end which includes the breakup. The final rose ceremony in my opinion is to solidify the love story between two people. But I felt like the break up did that instead. It showed us even when they were on the verge of a spilt the love was so intense. To me that break up was the final rose ceremony. It just ended in heart break (I hope it makes sense to whoever reads this). Because we felt all the emotions that is suppose to be felt at the final rose ceremony in this scene even though it was sad. So it gives me some joy to know that what we witnessed throughout this season between rachel and peter was real feelings up until the very end. And pls don't say it was editing because cameras can't fake emotions (unless producers was telling rachel to ball her eyes out😅😅😅) which i doubt they did. what the camera did was capture real moments. They’re both not just crying for this particular loss but all other loses in the past and possibly future ones (in Peter’s sake). I personally feel she chose the right guy. I'd have to disagree. I was not in support of her in the beginning of the show, because I felt as if Raven should've gotten the spot. As Rachel's season progressed I began to lighten up about the idea of her being the Bachelorette. I could see how the line "Gimme that ring." would be a turn off for most. Yet, the way that I see it is more as a witty statement. She clearly acknowledged her fiance. I don't know if she is in love with Bryan, but I could definitely say that in that particular incident that she was just extremely excited to become his fiance. A ring is just a symbol of that love, and she was excited to wear it! Also, I don't know what interview you are talking about, but when I've watched the interviews with her talking about Bryan she does nothing but gushes over him... I always knew she settled for Bryan. If Peter wanted marriage he would’ve been her choice, hands down. They had so much more chemistry, and her family preferred him over Bryan. I remember him getting up in the middle of a converstion as Rachel’s sister was grilling him, and he couldn’t handle it. And if you watch the first episode, Bryan seemed so inauthentic; making out every second rather than having a real conversation with her, and using his sex appeal as leverage. He was an opportunist and him asking for spousal support confirms that; a trophy husband. Maybe they grew to have real love for each other when they got married, but that relationship was doomed from the start. I was never a fan of his. I really like Rachel though, I wish her the best moving forward.

They both backed each other in a corner. They were too stuck in their heads about past experiences and one not having enough time and the other expecting so much in so little time. It's sad because I truly believe they would have made a great couple. Even though Rachel claims now she would have picked Bryan anyways, I believe there's still a part of her that wanted Peter to be more than willing to propose. I am still shocked it's not Peter, but at the end of the day this is about what Rachel wants and she wanted someone who was sure and ready for marriage. Peter seems like a lot of women's ideal man which is why he is so favored and why so many women are upset that Rachel didn't choose him over a proposal. I think Peter needs to figure things out for himself and not jump in to possibly being the next bachelor.

Y'all gotta understand Peter, he is not one to make permanent life long decisions based on an emotional/physical based tv show alone. Maybe he wanted to try the bachelorette to see if it were possible. But he is not able to, especially when he saw with his own eyes how attached Rachel was to the show, and to someone like Brian who comes off as fake, is from Miami (the city of fake), and likes to be on reality tv shows. Although he loved her to death, he still saw right through her. He was hoping she would understand him and give him a chance based on a real-world perspective. He may have even changed his mind and proposed had she shown that she was in it for love and not just a tv show/ring, but she wanted to live the bachelorette fairy tale dream and win that ring. He even told her, "TAKE A CHANCE" he even said "You know where to find me if you change your mind" he was giving her ALL kinds of chance to take a risk with him. He made up his mind that he wasn't going to take a risk without her taking a risk. Was it worth it in the end? Only time will tell. Peter understands that there is more to love than a ring and a show. He wanted forever with her even if it meant sacrificing what he believed in because he said he would propose if that meant she would stay with him even though it goes against his belief in perfect timing(aka dump Bryan). But she wasn't willing to sacrifice why she came on the show which was for a guaranteed proposal/ring above all else.

He came on the show probably open to the idea of falling in love and proposing but realising how little time it is to make such a decision that affects the rest of his life. 3 or 4 dates was clearly not enough for him and I don't blame him at all sticking to what he believed in.

But I am not going to count out the fact that most people would love to be on this show at that age, and I am not going to count out the fact that people change over the years. I am 28 and not even close to how I was when I was 18. So really we can't speak for him. But I will say that after time, experience, and enough serious relationships, what I saw between Peter and Rachel was real.

Peter was so manipulative which is a very dangerous trait and position for Rachel. How could he say I will give you an amazing life when he doesn't even know what he's going to do tomorrow!!!! He wanted to string her along while he wallowed in the valley of indecisiveness in terms of committing to marriage! I'm so glad she cut him loose because he was a painful waste of time and never should have been on the show in the first place!

From her first interaction with Bryan, it was clear that he was the one for Rachel. Anyone coming with this bullshit that she “chose the ring over true love” or anything similar is dumb. She had more with Bryan in my opinion and just because it was hard to let Peter go, that doesn’t mean she felt more for him. At the end of the day, him not knowing what he wanted at that point doesn’t mean like some of you are saying that in a bit after the show ended he’d propose. She went with her gut and I’m glad. Her and Bryan are better together than her and Peter ever were or ever would be. Also the fact that her and Bryan are still together proves it is something real while who knows if her and Peter would even still be dating let alone engaged at this point.

You know what the irony( if I can call it that)in all of this is. That we saw a journey to love between Rachel and Peter from the beginning to the very end which includes the breakup. The final rose ceremony in my opinion is to solidify the love story between two people. But I felt like the break up did that instead. It showed us even when they were on the verge of a spilt the love was so intense. To me that break up was the final rose ceremony. It just ended in heart break (I hope it makes sense to whoever reads this). Because we felt all the emotions that is suppose to be felt at the final rose ceremony in this scene even though it was sad. So it gives me some joy to know that what we witnessed throughout this season between rachel and peter was real feelings up until the very end. And pls don't say it was editing because cameras can't fake emotions (unless producers was telling rachel to ball her eyes out😅😅😅) which i doubt they did. what the camera did was capture real moments. Ok I'm done😊
