Probably watched 10 reviews of the Bantam, and not a single one mentioned what you did at 4:32 regards to the line guide - at least not that clearly. Good review!
Love my 2018 Bantam. Used it for cranking and chatterbaits. But definitely picking up the 22 model soon. The line guide being out further makes casting farther easier, and the 6-pin Infinity SVS brakes are sure to have more control than the previous 4-pin braking system in the previous bantam
Hi ladybass. I have smaller hands, the antares 70 and curado 70 mgl k fit my hand perfect. How does the 2022 bantom compare to those reels in your hand. Thank you and happy new years!

Hey! Nice video, congrats, love your videos! All the way from Romania with a question, does the 22 Bantam cast better then the 18? I fish mostly from the shore so need long casts. I know the Met would probably be a better caster, but need a more powerful reel to use for pike fishing. I know that the 18 Bantam didn t cast that good. I'm looking at 19 Antares and 22 Bantam, wold pick the Bantam as it's a new reel with some innovations..., your oppinion would help so much! Thank you!
For pike id definitely go bantam over met - just a more solid reel in my opinion. It casts far, but i dont know if it casts much further and i havent measured casting distance to check. My 2018 bantam casted like a dream, so it may be the line or something. If you have the money, the Antares DC MD is a sick reel - casts super far and can handle bigger baits!

I personally like the color more on the 2018 version thinking bout getting it however I’ll love to see a new chronarch mgl since it hasn’t been updated for 5 years I think they will add coresolid body for new chronarch and a lighter mgl 3 spool nice review tho

I bought 2 of them about a month ago and it is phenominal! Way way better than the bantam mgl 18 , and arguably better than the metanium imo.

Its a lil bigger for sure but definitely feels smaller then the curado 200
