416 Stainless Steel would be a good material for irons. You can heat treat it after making it. Comes out a darker nice color with a Rockwell hardness of around 60.

Three words of advice (we had 4 girl, all adults now) from now until she is 18, no one lives with you even family and who watches her. Second, kids watch and hear everything you do and say and learn everything the first five years of life. Third.. So spoil her to a point and discipline (teaching) what is good and bad for her. Love your channels, but life is going g to change and family comes first.
