Wolfmother is one of the few groups that can actually still rock. I'm a fan of the classics and I'm also a fan of Wolfmother. Keep up the good work guys.
COOL BAND!!! I love the lead singer's voice, and yes, he's rockin the afro!! I agree totally with that!! I wish that Wolfmother, and Rival Sons could do a show together!!! That would be a dynamite show worth seeing!!!!!
The range, POWER, and huge sound you'd think this was a 5 piece band! One of the best bands of our time or it has everything that is amazing about the late 60's and 70's with some new modern energy! I'll ALWAYS love Wolfmother!
I really hoped this band would have paved the way for a resurgence of visceral rock energy in the mainstream. Didnt happen. But i still love them. Really really happy and grateful that I got to hear their work. Really appreciate the music.
While I've known about them for years and heard a few tunes, I haven't had time to dig deeper. I was at a music store yesterday and found this CD for $3, so I grabbed it. The whole CD is great! Lots of different styles, but "Woman" is my favorite track! If you love hard rock, check out the album "Show and Tell" by the Philly band Silvertide........and "Dirty Diamonds" by the Pittsburgh hard rock band Diamond Reo (NOT Diamond RIO, the country band). I've been collecting and playing music since the 60s and these two albums are killer. Different styles, but both great! Both bands from my home state of Pennsylvania! I got to see Diamond Reo live multiple times. One if the fiercest live bands ever! Also, while The Litter's album "Emerge" is more 60s psych, the track "Feeling" is a killer hard rock track and one of the earliest examples of modern hard rock. Almost forgot, check out Sir Lord Baltimore's first album "Kingdome Come". Came out in the late 60s right beside Black Sabbath, but never get as much credit for pioneering HEAVY METAL. Rock on!
