I cannot thank you enough for sharing all the details of your build. You have done what no one has done before making it much clearer how to build a scale flight deck.
@@alpasimulation5485 Alberto, I am looking at SISMO to supply a complete Cockpit. Would it be possible to speak with you sometime? Perhaps on Discord? It would be a big help to me. Thank you.
There is so much more to do.. I have all the various accessories to construct and install. All the little details will be there. Thanks so much for your kind comments
Ciao Alberto. Really enjoying your videos! I was wondering about your power cable management. I am planning my sim build and thinking of getting the single mip config from sismo with MCP+EFIS included. Did all of your hardware from your MIP run via one 13amp UK wall outlet? Is that enough? Im also based in the UK so trying to calculate power draw. Don’t think mip and the sismo modules draw that much power? Grazie e salutoni:)
Ciao, ti rispondo in Inglese visto che potrebbe interessare altre persone. When i started building the simulator i calculate the overall power drwan but the full cockpit. The main parts are the 2 mini pc that embedded in the Sismo MIP and the 3 monitor which are for the Captain side, FO side and Eicas. The rest are all pcbs and controls running at 12 V dcc. Overall, although my simulator have several power plugs, ethernet cables, wires etc.. it is all powered by a single 13A wall outlet. In fact, even with the full cockpit lit and operational, i don't even get close to the max nominal power drawn. Overall, it's like having couple of deskptop computers running, that's all really. You are going for the single configuration, i believe that includes a single mini pc and 2 monitors so you will be fine. Where are you located in Uk?

Sure. You can purchase the complete shell from here www.flybycockpits.com/b737ng-advanced-line The shell can also be purchased from the Sismo Solutions website, just search 737ng advanced cockpit shell sismo-soluciones.com/index.php?id_product=484&rewrite=b737-cockpit-shell-advanced-line&controller=product
I'm thinking of what kind of air conditioner to be use in that cockpit. If its me, I want a real ac cold air coming out from the cockpit ac vents. I want an enclosed cockpit to maintain realism. Even the cockpit door will be identical to the real one. When recording audio from inside the cockpit with gopro the recorded audio will have almost the same sound and nuances as if it in the real cockpit. For ambient audio I'll be using surround sound with subwoofers that can reach subsonic bass frequency extended to 14hz. This will add more thump and pressure as low frequency bass can be felt and not heard. Just my wild imagination though 😅
That's i suppose is what all cockpit builders imagine, and it can be done actually. I do have real replica door and CB panels and I am in the process of sorting out the best way to replicate sounds in the cockpit. For instance, engine running sound should come from the back of the cockpit. I also need to sort out the headphones which will filter cockpit noise for better ATC and pilot-to-pilot communication. As for the AC, didn't get at that stage yet but if I am doing something it will be post on the videos
Absolutely awesome!
