Hi, I was never a good QB, but I played football for many years with guys who went pro. The key is to practice, practice and then practice more. Hang a tire from a tree or something similar. Start throwing the ball through the hole, then keep backing up further away to improve your accuracy. You can push it so it moves side to side and try throwing it that way. Try it from different angles. Most importantly, have the receivers you will play with run simple 5 and out, 10 and out, 5 and in, 10 and in and so on. Also experement with a stop and go long, which is the best play on offense. Practice a fake arm movement to draw the DB to come forward and when your receiver turns to go long, practice your timing and try not to wait too long so the DB can catch up. Other patterns are a post and flag route. Also, learn to scramble. When some rushes you fast, learn to fake throw and then spin or just run to either side. Your receivers should learn to break their patterns and head to the side of the field you move to. Watch KC's Patrick Mahomes and Bills Josh Allen and watch what they do. Listen to your coach since he/she will evaluate your throwing motion and other important technical aspects. Good luck!
@@jmindlin2I really appreciate you for your help we are going into playoffs and my team has 3 wins in a row. I have 3 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown. And I also have a pick with 16 flag pulls.
@@jmindlin2Np. I happen to also ref i9. In our league it’s where the ball is when the flag is pulled. In some leagues it’s where the front foot is or where the flag is pulled. Either way when you pause it at 11:53 you can clearly see that 27’s entire body was in the end zone before the flag was pulled. I was also confused about the 10 yard penalty since in our league there are only 5 yard penalties but I guess it‘s different in different i9 leagues.
Joining i9. I’m 13. Wondering if you have any advice for me on being a good quarterback
