They vlog and sing in youtube and Im a big fan. They live together in a house and they represent what true filipinas are. Kind, beautiful, humble and talented.
Please forgive me for this excessively long comment!!! I'm sorry, but I also hope you can find the time to read it!!! Let me introduce you to the sisters!!!
The first to sing was Mylene, the second youngest, she arranges all the sisters vocals and harmonies, and has been referred to as a musical genius even though she has no training regarding music theory and doesn't read music!!! She also has one of the most soulful voices I have ever heard!!! The second to sing was Irene, the second eldest, she is the choreographer of the groups live shows, and has a beautiful low range, her voice reminds me of the great Karen Carpenter's, and is the strong base their beautiful harmonies are built on!!! The third to sing was Almira, the eldest!!! She performs as the belter of the group!!! She is a world class singer with abilities similar to Morissette and Katrina!!! Her whistle tone is amazing!!! The last to sing was Celina, the youngest, she is the rapper and techie of the group!!! She has a chrystal clear voice, perfect diction, and can hit a beautiful light and bright whistle tone!!!!
Almira won singing lessons in a contest as a child. While she attended, her sisters were in a dance class. When they got home Almira would teach her sisters what she had learned!!! They have an older sister that stopped singing with them when the youngest, Celina, was old enough to join in!!! She acts as their business manager!!! Their mother, who is always with them and kept them safe from the evil part of the music industry actually designs and sews the outfits they wear in their live shows!!!! It really is a family affair!!!
They have been singing together since they were children in 2001. They, like the TNT Boys, grew up in poverty. Their father collected recyclables from other peoples garbage trying to feed the family. There are pictures of them together, all under 10 years old, trying to raise money busking in nasty cock fighting arenas around the slums they lived in!!!
They had dreamed all their lives of becoming singing stars and after innumerable singing contest and winning many awards, as 2015 approached they became disheartened and thought about giving up on a career in the music industry. A family friend suggested they try out for the X Factor UK!!! Their audition, with over 167 million views is the most viewed X Factor video ever!!! It is still getting over a million new views a month, even after five years!!! I can't remember the exact number but I believe it is six of their performances are in the top ten most viewed X Factor videos of all time!!! Rita Ora told them "This audition has just changed your lives". It was true, they have been able to make a living since then doing live shows, concerts, corporate events and occasional television shows. Doing TH-cam covers just to try and get their name out there.
Simon Cowell took Little Mix and Fifth Harmony to stardom, but even as recently as 2015 there were no Asian superstars in either the US or UK markets or even superstars that had to tiptoe to reach the 5 foot mark. So they didn't fit the music industrys stereotype of what a singer should be. It wasn't until K-POP took off that it became ok to be short and Asian!!! I bet now that Simon is wanting his own Asian K-POP group, he regrets thinking that these sisters were not marketable!!!
They are the bread winners in the family and this Chinese virus took away their only source of income. They are extremely humble. God and family comes first with them!! They had just released an original single titled, kNOw More, before the virus hit and the production of the video had to be halted. It topped the charts in the Philippines for two weeks and is being played on some radio stations here in the States!!!
While locked down, they turned to TH-cam, Kumu, and Patreon to try and make some money to buy groceries!! The Lord blessed them when they discovered just how many and how loyal their Dreamers were!!! They went from locked down without money for basic necessities to searching for a home to buy for themselves and their family!!! This was just the begining of God's blessings on them!!! A group of Dreamers teamed together and donated the funds for them to produce and distribute their own original independent album!!! They were even able to produce an amazing online concert two Saturdays ago featuring Queen Regine and many others, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of changing their name from Fourth Power to Fourth Impact in the middle of their X Factor UK journey!!! Queen Regine even sang a song with the sisters!!! Shameless plug for the sisters... the concert DVD is available for pre-order!!!!...lol. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade!!!!
This great performance kicked open the door to the world for Filipino singers, it opened my eyes and the eyes of at least 167 million other people, not even including the uncountable people that have watched reactions to the video for five years, to the incredible talent of Filipino singers!!! Without this audition, I can honestly say I would never have discovered Morissette, KZ, Katrina, Sarah G, Queen Regine, Jaya, the TNT Boys...the list is almost endless!!! Please don't let this five year old video be the only Fourth Impact video you react to!!!! I promise, you haven't seen anything yet!!!! Their cover of Never Enough is a masterpiece of vocal arrangement and harmonies!!! Their recent redo of Natalie Cole's late 1970's R&B solo hit, Our Love, was an arrangement challenge to Mylene by a fan that wanted her to make the song fit all four sisters voices!!! It was done in their home in the Philippines while quarantined, no studio no professional equipment, basically just a kareoke backing track, four wireless microphones, and these sisters having fun singing a beautiful song!!! I haven't counted but I know there are over 10 lead changes between all four sisters in the song, with the three not singing lead doing the background harmonies!!! It is truly phenomenal!!!! Their cover of the Jackson Five's I'll be there on Wish 107.5 is mind blowing, IMHO, better than the original and I've actually seen the Jackson Five perform the song, and Mariah's version can't touch it!!!! Thank you for featuring these amazing sisters on your channel, and not banning me for this book length comment!!! Took me almost an hour typing it on my cellphone!!! Good thing I got here early...lol. I'm really excited to see this reaction!!!!

Hi! Philip & Lee, they harmonize well, they blend well as one VOICE. They have similar timbres as they are sisters. The Gollayan Sisters were awarded the 2013 Senior Grand Champion Vocal Group of the World award at the 17th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) competition held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel,L.A., from July 12-21, 2013. For this competition alone, they won 16 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 4 Overall Champion plaques.

It has gotten really difficult to get really good reactors to react to our sisters!! They don't receive the TH-cam support of the Filipino people the way other singers do!!! Most of their support comes from fans everywhere else in the world!!! I think I just got to excited about this reaction!!! I'm just glad he didn't ban me for writing a book!!!

I agree with this statement. I love watching people that know what they are talking about react to singers on the internet. I would love for them to react to Angelica Hale singing Stone Cold or really any of her AGT video's, though my favorite is Clarity.
The recent piano cover she released of Stone Cold is incredible!!! Whenever I'm having a bad day I turn to Fourth Impact, Angelica Hale and the TNT Boys!!!! They always brighten a dark day !!!

Such excellent choreography, costuming, harmonies and individual contributions. Will definitely add to my viewing list of Filipino artists, along with Morissette Amon, Daryl Ong and more.

Yes theyre the very first to perform that day and right Phillip thats the way to start a show....so much energy from start and never dwindled til the end. It was a long wait for me since I requested them but it's worth it. They are my little dollies and what xfactor calls them patooties as pint sized popsters but theyre monsters on stage...they are philippines queens of harmonies and have lots of videos on youtube so hope u continue reacting to them. Can I interest you with their acapella version of Imagine by john lennon? Or their quarantine rendition of The Prayer by celine dion and andrea bocelli. Thanks

Accidentally found this channel and as of this moment, I'm currently having a marathon in all your videos. I enjoy watching your video reactions.
You have to see their 6 chair turn (x factor) .. the intense part where there are only 6 chairs and all the contestants fighting for the chance to be in that top 6
That's 4th impact's first audition and it has earned the record of most views worldwide at about 170M views and still going....they landed 5th place in the competition which I absolutely disagree with knowing all other competitors not sounding biased but knowing what real talent is. After the show the top 10 among them went into xfactor tour around UK and 4th impact was voted best act on an online poll.
