Magnificent story telling and performing. I love these two together. its as it should be. Certainly not all roses after this as I recall but even at their worst times you knew they had a deep abiding love that will win in the end. I so love it when Eric calls Stephanie "His Sweet Girl". 🌹
They are indeed like two old friends, familiar with each other's ways, quirks; and personality wrinkles that they make a perfect pair. Through many marriages, (especially Eric's marriages to those trashy Logan sisters) and divorces, and fights, etc. Stephanie and Eric are a match that will always endure!
I agree though I think Stephanie should have made more of an effort for Eric sexually if she wanted to keep him. She knew he "needed" it but wouldn't give it. Otherwise just be friends.
I know they wrote Stephanie out of the show a few years ago. Betty White played the shit out of her part as Stephanie's Mom. Betty White also played Kitty Formans Mother on That 70's Show. Im glad to have found these past episodes to bring me up to date. Its a shame Stephanie was written out, but i understand she wanted out after 25 years. The original Ridge left to. I remember this show premiering and me taping it for my Mother, i worked night work back in "87, my mom used to tape her shows, back then it was Y&R, ATWT and Guiding Light. I remember Capitol was on CBS, and it ended and Bold and The Beautiful had premiered. In these clips, I noticed Stephanie took on a more manly appearance, the short hair and all, i preferred her with longer hair, and she wore such sharp outfits. The acting in this Soap was always outstanding, it and Y&R have earned all their accolades! Hats off to Bill and Lee Philip Bell.
