This is the kind of hunting I used to do before I moved to Arizona! I dont miss the terrain (getting old and lazy in my young age I guess) But I sure miss the hunting and hiking with my long time friend and hunting partner before he left for the Army. Those were the days!
I might add for clarity, I never did spot and stalk on a bear. We scouted and hiked all preseason and found good natural blinds to use for Deer, my favorite animal to eat!
This was an awesome video being from the eastern side of Oregon I too know the difficulty of hunting this great state. I just wish that more people here would help change some of these laws that conflict with proper management of out wildlife.

It's at the top of my price range but if you know of any pistols under $800 for deer hunting at a maximum range of 100 yards?

spot and stalk.. the way hunting should be.. 85% of my hunting is spot and stalk or layed up in the bush camo and waiting.
