Can we just stop for a moment and take in the fact that this woman is almost 83 years old!!!! I think this is from a couple of years ago but still in her 80’s. She is amazing!

Unless there are only a couple little frail roots, it will be fine! You can actually cut half of most plants roots off, & they'd still be fine!

Espoma starter is what I use when planting new plants. It’s a good thing.

@@soniahofmann4969 it’s a fertilizer brand which is organic. They have 7 or 8 different fertilizer.
Espona is organic slow release fertilizer. There are different kinds, but I think the poster may be referring to Bio tone. This is used when doing new plantings.
There is also a general fertilizer from this company called Plant tone.
Nog only does she know flowers, she knows compost, soil and garden tools. She is so knowledgeable.
Well I mean, all those things usually come hand in hand?

Beautiful!! I noticed that gorgeous White Kousa Dogwood at Richards Dads home. Beautiful gardens. Can you do a show on your favorite plants, garden designs for entertaining outdoors? My all time favorites are Hostas, peonies (all of them) Pink and White Dogwoods with ferns, Lilly of the valleys. Love❤

Do you think Bromeliads would grow well in the shade underneath some trees in your area? They make for nice rings around trees under their canopies.
It looks like and old fashioned approach wiht tilling as opposed to no dig gardening, digging only when planting..

Hysterical. She says “a tiller we use” and “compost we make”. Yea. OK Martha. And she’s in “highway flower” central. How can she NOT like QA lace and chicory??
Rototilling damages soil. Instead, add deep layer of compost and worms will carry to soil below. From University of Oregon Extension Service: "Soil structure is delicate and is damaged by actions that compact the soil. Compaction by machinery or foot traffic is a common problem. Compacted soils hinder penetration of air and water and growth of roots. Compacted soils are a poor environment not only for plants, but also for earthworms and other soil organisms. Tilling the soil, particularly when it is wet, damages soil structure and increases the rate of soil organic matter loss through decomposition."
Make sure Richard buy them in groups of 3 at least.

Nope stop tilling and weeding use cardboard first #1. Save your money and time. Add compost yes and thick mulch permaculture 101❤🎉

You can tell you have an unlimited amount of money. It’s not secret😂. Try doing this on a budget. I have the most beautiful garden with a clay based soil. It took forever. I did not do it like this. This is rich idiots who want you to spend spend spend. Oh while she tells the gardener what to do. 😂😂😂
Why not consult a real gardener?
She could have just named all the types of birds 🦆 and animals 🫏 and then added MANURE once so we didn’t have to visualize those animals doing their 💩 thing in the garden. 😂
