Can we just stop for a moment and take in the fact that this woman is almost 83 years old!!!! I think this is from a couple of years ago but still in her 80’s. She is amazing!
Right!?! You know how many 60 year olds i take care of in the nursing home or at home that cant walk wihtout a walker or wheelchair becaise they have bad knees or something?@casandradickinson8518
Watched this on her HGTV series, Martha Knows Best, during the Covid lockdown. Wish HGTV would make a second season. She consistently gives honest, productive advice.
Martha…this was particularly enjoyable!! "If you are a total perfectionist, which I am not"….as Ryan chuckles…Your sense of humor always makes you so relatable….to so many of us, you ARE the Queen of everything!!…Please do more of these planting videos!! ~ "Hurry Ryan….step it up!! ~ hahaha! This was SO much FUN!!! 👸🏼✨
The most beautiful in this video is YOU and RICHARD ! Fabulous I wish my garden looked as healthy as you two. Thanks for sharing and enjoy the summer you two.
Espona is organic slow release fertilizer. There are different kinds, but I think the poster may be referring to Bio tone. This is used when doing new plantings. There is also a general fertilizer from this company called Plant tone.
Beautiful!! I noticed that gorgeous White Kousa Dogwood at Richards Dads home. Beautiful gardens. Can you do a show on your favorite plants, garden designs for entertaining outdoors? My all time favorites are Hostas, peonies (all of them) Pink and White Dogwoods with ferns, Lilly of the valleys. Love❤
@@sherriianiro747yes. They are both unrealistic when it comes to the cost for average folks. And same with labor for the weekend gardener. Garden answer's parents own a nursery lol.
If only we had Ryan to help us spruce up our gardens. That being said, one can’t help but love Martha for caring for all plant life! Indeed, this planet certainly could do well with more Marthas! Could we clone her?!
Looks like Martha has burned her bras in favor of stretch cami's too. She sure knows A lot about everything home. love R.Gere. My fav was the one he played a skitso. Sooo convincing. I watch anything with him Or Billy Bob.
Martha, your garden is beautiful ! Please share the names of the plants. We want to plant our gardens with some of the same plants. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and beautiful garden. Oh, say hello to Ryan. 😊
Many soils in the United States are too high in phosphorus, so definitely do a soil test before adding. Also, the tilling is not necessary unless perhaps you’re starting with a bed covered in grass.
Hysterical. She says “a tiller we use” and “compost we make”. Yea. OK Martha. And she’s in “highway flower” central. How can she NOT like QA lace and chicory??
Rototilling damages soil. Instead, add deep layer of compost and worms will carry to soil below. From University of Oregon Extension Service: "Soil structure is delicate and is damaged by actions that compact the soil. Compaction by machinery or foot traffic is a common problem. Compacted soils hinder penetration of air and water and growth of roots. Compacted soils are a poor environment not only for plants, but also for earthworms and other soil organisms. Tilling the soil, particularly when it is wet, damages soil structure and increases the rate of soil organic matter loss through decomposition."
It's a poor design equipment when you have to bend down to turn it on and off. They should design the switch near the handle you use to push the machine.

83 with lot of cosmetic surgery.
This woman is incredible. If this planet had thousands of Martha's, what a difference it would make !
❤❤❤
Is jack of all trades. She looks old and frail I've never seen her like this before. She is multi talented.
@@my_garden.secretsold and frail? Most wish they will be like her at 81.

Fancy having Richard Gere as your neighbour. I would be running out of sugar and needing a cup every second day!
Ha!
Me too. And I would have a little chat with him...❤❤❤❤..
😍
Hahaha.
Martha is a go-getter! She will always be a national treasure.❤

Love you, Martha! You have a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks for all the things you’ve taught me over the years! You’re inspiring!
We all need a Ryan to build our garden beds and Richard Gere as a neighbor.
True that !!❤
And Martha as the Project Manager. ;0)
I take Martha’s information to heart!! She really knows her gardening, cooking, etc. Triple G like Snoop Dog says!!
I love Martha. She says it the way it is.
The woman isnt even out of breath!!! She is fabulous!!
I’m in heaven…3 of my favourites in one video: plants, Martha and Richard Gere. Swoooooon.🤗
“I don’t like highway flowers” 😂
Wonderful! There’s only one Martha Stewart!
Richard gere is still a handsome man..
I still have my Martha Stewart planting spade and I love it!
Love Martha she is so intelligent on so many subjects. Would love to meet her.
Martha getting down and dirty😂 How can you not love her❤️
Long live Martha and all her beautiful gardens.
My bed is prepared for Richard to spruce my perennials.
@22Too, oohh la la!!!
Sounds like you've gone up a gere, gear, Gere😮😅
“perfectionist which I am not”😂
I'm always afraid to hurt the roots but the way she sliced them gives me courage
Unless there are only a couple little frail roots, it will be fine! You can actually cut half of most plants roots off, & they'd still be fine!
I plant in odd numbers too. Constantly battling my mother about this!😂😂😂
Martha!!! I love highway flowers! They are so hardy and survive in such harsh conditions…
I always say I want Martha to be my neighbor in the new world ! lol 😂
I love Martha Stewart!! I wish she was my neighbor.... Richard is so very lucky to have her around!!!! 😂😂😂😂... 🌲🌲..🌸🌹🌳🌺🌼🌹🌸🌼🌺.....
Interesting clip to see... hope she visits more homes of the rich and famous to share !
I have to admit, Martha Stewart always gives excellent advice, and I find myself always going back to see what she would do....
Nog only does she know flowers, she knows compost, soil and garden tools. She is so knowledgeable.
Well I mean, all those things usually come hand in hand?
I would have loved to see the finished project.
Excellent, and Is the way to plant! 🙌💚🌱🌿

Absolutely love Martha. I learned a thing or two as well. :)
Martha is funny.
COLIOUS! COLIOUS IS HOW YOU GET BEAUTIFUL COLOR IN YOUR SHADE GARDEN AND HUCHERA CORAL BELLS, AMONGST YOUR FERNS AND HOSTAS!!
That is a beautiful border with a nice selection of perennials, but, it must have cost a fortune

Thank you for the tips
Beautiful ❤️😊
"One plant doesn't do it for me". If only we all had the money to fill in a bed like that in one day. And an employee do all the work.
Richard Gere, I’ll help you. What does Martha know! 😂
He's remarried. Nvr alone long. Hard to fill Cindy Crawford's shoes.
When she said she wasn’t a perfectionist, I thought a head would explode somewhere.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!
Love love love! You’ve given me some great ideas. ❤
Thanks for sharing
Only in my dreams would Richard Gere call me to help in his garde 🤭
I have the same compost pile! My plants absolutely LOVE it!
Isn't all that poo bad for some plants? Like berries, they don't req.fert.

Heuchera's, Azalea's tons of full shade fun stuff Martha!!!!
That's a magic compost. Wish i could find some for my garden. It's not available at homedepot for sure. 😊😊😊

Ah, it is so good to see Martha Stewart doing what she loves, and making fun of herself along the way. Those gloves were a lot cleaner than Ryan's. 😀

What are those bright green ball shrubby plants that you put three side by side?
Do you think Bromeliads would grow well in the shade underneath some trees in your area? They make for nice rings around trees under their canopies.
It’s almost perfect lol
Martha come help me please!!
😊 I’ve got some of that super duper phosphate 0-46-0 that is some good stuff!

Why not allowing CC on this video? For hearing impaired people!!!
I just discovered the Hori Hori. I love it.
I wish the comments included the names of all the flowers. There are some low purple flowers in this video and I don’t know what they are.
It looks like and old fashioned approach wiht tilling as opposed to no dig gardening, digging only when planting..
Nope stop tilling and weeding use cardboard first #1. Save your money and time. Add compost yes and thick mulch permaculture 101❤🎉
I live in Fort Lauderdale,Florida. My Japanese Sky Pencil tree keeps dying. Does anyone here know how I can stop them from dying?
❤ rototiller, go rent one, ❤
Hi to Mr. G.s Dad!! ❤
Hey Richard I’d love to help lol
Make sure Richard buy them in groups of 3 at least.
Hosta is deer candy!
Was this filmed in 2024?
Don’t forget some fireplace ashes!
I think Martha was saying she hates Goldenrod......it gets a lot of hate also because people mistake it for causing hay fever.
The best information that I take away from Martha Stewart is if you eat your plant has to eat. So I make sure to fertilize my flowers.
Poor Ryan
It's a poor design equipment when you have to bend down to turn it on and off. They should design the switch near the handle you use to push the machine.
Gere said that place where Martha is at is NOT his place.
How about a garden or dye special? #marthastewart
Does Martha not like wildflowers?
What is Richard Gere busy doing?
Richard is busy taking care of Martha's garden.🤔🤗👍😘🙉
