I believe that is Giermo flying the orange craft featured in this video, he assembled and tested the engines at the Hialeah factory. Your's truly pilots the white craft that appears in a banked turn @ about 7:02 and again from about 7:15 to the end of the video.
these are great i own this model 1989 0nly prob 40hp a 440 ccw snowmobile engine -the one thing you must always remember is you have to be going straight in order to land especially at high speeds- these really aren't at all for the four wheeling trails but open areas- on hard packed snow or ice covered water is the best-you get a lot of mist on the water and also if snow is powdery you get coated like a blizzard.mine has no stress cracks in the fiberglass i will sell for the right price but probably shouldn't as it is very unique and hard to find one in mint condition. i have a video of me on it doing donuts on a small puddle of water in my yard if you care to see

Does this craft balance on a cushion of air?
That thing looks like fun! I had a chance to buy a hovercraft a long time ago but didn't.

What's the drain plug about? Never heard that Hovercrafts had drain plugs
