Omg!! Takahashi is definitely being prepared for the olympics or tokyo tokyo 2021. He was a long awaited star in Japanese volleyball and has long been scouted by the Japanese National Team. I love how Sekita just keeps going to his new outside hitters and not just relying on Nishida during this match.

Can we give Sekita more love? He's such an accurate setter and an amazing defensive player. I wonder why he isn't the captain of the team. He's always giving suggestions during time-outs and group huddles. Definitely my favorite player on the Japanese team.
One of best lineups in Volleyball these days. JAPAN Without Yuki and they still slay it. Imagine how hard the blockers to stop these three, Yuki, Nishida and Ran. And Sekita is one of my favorite setters, he could send the ball wherever he wants and knows there will be someone hitting that ball. I wish the very best for JAPAN in 2021 Olympics.

yuki ishikawa is the team's main gun without a doubt. the others need to level with his all around game and experience to have a memorable Tokyo Olympics. these young guns need exposure that is why they are used more in this friendly competitive game.
What are you talking about ? You don't know Nishida and how well he played along Ishikawa if not equal or even stronger at times. And Japan has 2 phenomenal setters plus newly added R Takahashi whose jumps are as high as Nishida's for their height it's amazing.
