That bird is so cool! You’re a wizard with the 3d printer! Too bad the Navy can’t seem to figure out what they want to do with it. Bravo Zulu on the model. Looks good , flies great!
Congratulations from France for leading this realistic, valid and above all controllable design. Quick other projects: more simply like the V1, why not with variable geometry wing for a completely different generation of aircraft type?
Is there a way to incorporate a accelerometer/orientation sensor sort of things to help stabilize. Cellphone have then to know how they are positioned i don't see why an rc can't have that of circuit
You are using the Bamboo Labs X1 Carbon to print these? I was thinking of getting one just because of your videos, but they just changed to a subscription online only price model. That is a bummer. :(
Excellent work Kyle, looks like it will make it easy to work out the niggles. I am sure you could charge a premium on this design and allow the commissioner to recoup some if not all of his investment, (based on the success of the Darkstar). Afterall, it is an X-plane. Does the real one have split drag rudders like the B2?
I've watched a few of your vids and I'm impressed. You are doing good work. Have you considered using 18650 batteries instead of a battery pack? The battery sockets can be incorporated into the 3d printed frame and the contacts and wires can be reused in orher projects. It would give you a lot more options when working with CG. You could add simple weight distribution rails to slide and lock in weight balances. Just thinking out loud. 🤘
@hotlapkyle I use them for vaping. I have seen TH-cam vids of people making battery packs with them. Finding a 3d model for the battery housing should be pretty easy to find. I'm going to get back into 3d printing because watch your vids have given me some crazy ideas that I'm not sure are possible, but why not try.
Molicel p50b are some of the best right now, however edfs are a lil power hungry for these style cells.... 2207 on a 6 or 7" prop and they work good though
@@hotlapkyle Its pretty easy, just get 3 18650's and solder them in series, then use an old tired 3cell lipo and wire the 18650 cells up in the same manner as the lipo, I used to have a drone company where I like you design and built, long range hexcoppters with a 100km range and got 46 mins from a 1m wide hexcopter I called the X1Carbon around 10 years ago (take that bambooLabs LOL:) Even footage of the world record flight here on TH-cam. If you need any help with the battery build id be happy to jump on a zoom with you, one builder to another. Ps, please build the B-2, im happy to pay. Regards Chris

Wow Kyle! That one is extremely sick! Can’t wait until files are available.
good job👍getting the packaging and CG on point is always the most satisfying part to me on rc builds

Awesome Kyle! I like how this looks when it glides.

Smooooth. Nice job
Great work!
I'll bet you could get a refrigerator to fly -- another great design!
It has a similar profile to the Northrop B-2 Spirit. Stellar modeling man!
I really wanna make this can you put files on cults please?
Oh hell yeah is the right reaction!
very nice!
9:53 wouldn't those clear bubble tents work for staying warm while flying
NIIIIIIIIIIIICE! 😁👍
Must be a way to fly it without a tail or winglets....? Brilliant build as always.
Kyle have you considered to move the servos and links to the top of the model to reduce risk of tearing them off at landing?
@@RichieKeane unfortunately most want them on the bottom because it ruins the way the plane looks with them on top

is there any fly controller inside the plane?
