Hi bro wanted to ask which part of the carpark which can see full runway and which app do you use to hear thr atc🥹as a local penang guy i just wanted to know💚
New subscriber here! I've flown on the Firefly ATR 72-500 only four times in my life and only once on MASwing's ATR 72-600, but they were daytime flights. The pilot will only taxi and let the aircraft idle with the starboard engine for safety reasons. The cabin gets really hot and stuffy during embarkation until the crew starts the starboard engine to run the air conditioning system. What VHF Air band radio do you use to tune to the ATC at the airport, if I may ask?
@@SGPlaneSpottingOfficial Talkpod? Cool! I didn't know Singapore allows ham radio transceivers for civilian use these days. I have an old Baofeng UV-5RE, a TYT, two Welink M5 and Wouxsun UV9D Plus walkie talkies since 2016. Only the Wouxsun has a VHF Air band. Walkie talkies look kind of suspicious to airport authorities, so the last time when I traveled to Japan I brought along my Sihuadon R-108 shortwave receiver, which has a VHF Air Band. Does Firefly also have flights from XSP to SZB at night? I've always thought the airline flies turbo-props in the daytime. 🙂 I like the ATR 72-500, it's a very nimble plane when it's not fully laden with passengers and cargo.
@@StratmanII Nah it still not allowed, I only used it when I am out of Singapore. This firefly flight was very late, if I remember correctly it was almost 6 hours delayed.

It's not taken from the carpark. This shot is taken from someone's house. ATC is from an airband radio.
@@SGPlaneSpottingOfficial I see thank you so there is a specific apo to hear the Penang atc communication right
@@avishalaggarwal4217 Yes the frequency is known online

I have similarly taken the ATR from Seletar Airport Singapore to Kuala Lumpur Subang just last year. This is the Talkpod a36 plus.
