Thanks for focusing on this line! Amazing attacking play. I messed up in the 6.Kf1 line after my opponent played 8.Be2 and I removed the Bishop prematurely by playing 8....Bb6 After that White had easy access into the Black camp via 9.Bh5+
Love to see you do some of Emanuel Laser's games. No before or since has played like Lasker! ! How to become Chess World Champion by winning in bad positions!!!! Nuremberg 1896 has two good examples Schiffers and Showalter!!!!
Great stuff!! Here is a suggestion: Losing on time/Winning by flagging. It is often considered an inferior or dishonourable way of winning, to flag your opponent. But in some cases it definately means that you have posed so many problems that you have fried the brain of your opponent. Those problems may be very interesting. But I realise that showing such games could be hard, because you would need a documentation of the time after every move. What type of problems causes your opponent to lose time? That is quite interesting. Weird sacrifices gives ppl schocks and they start to think. Against the sicilian the Bowden attack + a bishop sacrifice may win the game. By flagging. Anyway great upload! Thx! What a game!
Well.. I suspect there aren't many top players viewing Mato's content, though you can never be sure. I actually play the Traxler frequent enough, between 1400-1600, with mixed results, i quite enjoy it. "Wacky" openings are hardly used anymore(!), i think; in the old days there used to be more experimenting with the opening strategies( Mato's lectures are relevant to that), while nowadays the focus, seems to me, is set on mid and end-game.
This is how I like to play all my games. Sacrifice material for a positional advantage. Sadly the positional advantage is for my opponent.
Practice makes near perfect
Mato always comes out with innovative ideas. What a fantastic game. Thanks a ton Mato.
it's not a game that he played.
I love these games! I can learn a lot from them!

In 1963 something very important happened in my life: I was for the first time allowed to go out and play without wearing a diaper!
LOL

my favourite opening
Your use of green arrows is very effective at indicating threats. Great video!
Greens arrow look friendlier than red arrows
Epic proportions
Beautiful
That's a nice looking mate. There's a strange beauty of mates that don't involve a queen. The multi-piece coordination is a thing of magic.
Coordination is very important
On 03:46 is simply Nf3*, then gf3 and the third move is mate - Rf1#. And that's it Mato! Thanks a lot!
Or you could go with four black pieces alive with ...Rxg2+ Kf1, then mate with Rg4#, Rg5#, or Rg6#.
@@indigofenrir7236 Our the black hero wanted to make much more beautiful mate with 2 bishops and 1 knight. That was a right of him!
Zaitsev has a sadistic streak.
I like it!
🤠
What a game!
4:00 instead 16. ... Rg5 (or Rg4 or Rg6) and it's a discovered mate. Don't see that too often.
Excellent game...
Si Brillante 👍
What a game!!!!!👍
Love you Mato 💞💞💞
still one run across amazing stuff

1963 was a dog of a year. Knowing about this game improves it...
What is this year? I hope it is not a bug year.
Really cool!
Brilliant game!
The Traxler variation might not _refute_ the 4. Ng5 line, but I wouldn't head into it as White, except possibly in a correspondence game!
Black won lots of games with TRAXLER
Father God loves You so Much ❤️
🙏
3:54 Why not just go Rg4 and mate? Why the sacrifice of the rook? Am I missing something?
Wow 😍
Fried liver turned into fried spleen
In 1963 the legend known as Mato was born

Young man
crazy chess game!
Wooow
i remember Zaitsev from enemy at the the gates
That Zaitsev would have been proud of this game.
I thought you said "a patzer" had white pieces.
I think Apartsev "Got served"!:)
I don't think it would be checkmate if white had taken the rock with white rock instead of with king.
chess is the best hehehehe smart game though
In 1963 my mother was born. That is important because i wouldn't be here otherwise😂
It is important indeed

These kinds of wacky openings are hardly ever used by top players... You see them at the lower lever club Play.
