There is a detailed description of Vipassana in the Mahasatipatthana Sutta. It has 4 stages Kayanupassana - viewing the body in a particular way Vedanaupassana - seeing the sensations, feelings, pains in a special way Chittanupassana - viewing the mind(Chitta) in a special way Dhammanupassana - Specially looking at the components of the mind, the 4 Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Vipassana is the only way to attain Nirvana, by doing Vipassana for 7 years or only 7 months or only 7 days, a person becomes non-returner, and starts walking on the path of Nibbana.

No. People have been thinking that spiritual life means slow life , lazy life , without intensity. No it's not. Spiritual life means now you're doing your work by your full involvement with full intensity. Now , you are not satisfied with small small happiness of life , now , you have started seeking bigger bliss or ecstacy or possibility of being HUMAN. Will we BECOME careless by meditation and mind becoems slow and lazy ? No it's not. We have felt that when mind is so calm and peaceful , you can do double work and can enjoy also. Stress is not needed to achieve targets. Controlled mind is needed that know what to do and when to do certain things. People thinks stress is needed to do work , these are the people whose mind isn't in their control, so they stay lazy till life starts biting them. ध्यान जब घटित होना शुरू होगा , तो मन से तादात्म टूटता जाएगा। ब्रह्मचर्य अपने आप हो जाएगा। उससे पहले ब्रह्मचर्य घटित नहीं होगा। अगर कोशिश करोगे फिर भी वह कुछ दिनों तक का होगा। लेकिन तब तक अपने आप को बुरे information से दूर रखना ,( जो मन को अशुद्ध बनाते हो) , बुद्धिमानी का कार्य है।

Here , we are using Buddhist terminology and you know what is dharma but many people don't know so using dhamma word is better , it's pure in its way.
