      @@eurekahomes8874 I make about 100-150 blocks a day by myself. I mix with clay I buy from a yard, mortar sand, and I use a mix of Portland and high strength concrete. I do 5.5 parts sand, 3.5 parts clay .7 parts Portland and .3 part high strength concrete with fibers… my blocks have steady psi over 3200… I’ve had multiple blocks from various batches thru all 4 seasons exposed to the elements. I find for northeast Ohio this is the perfect blend while keeping thermal mass elements. Plastering is more wise in a climate where you have snow, rain, winds and various weather like Ohio. My plans are to solar power the entire home, make everything electric and incorporate geothermal not only in flooring but also in the bottom portion of walls. The style brick I use has two separate 2” holes and has a channel in one of the molds I have. My plan is to run geothermal lines thru the block on the lower 48” of the wall. When I run the lines instead of concrete only use a slurry mix of high pressure fiber reinforced concrete in the areas that have the lines from geothermal. Heat rises. So if my floors and lower part of walls is heated by a geothermal system I can reasonably expect to be self sufficient in such a home.

    Are there variations in brick size and color for example larger size bricks and perhaps maybe a grayish color versus small red this look like what I call "PROJECT BRICKS"! Are there cracks crevices and spaces in between blocks that will allow insects and creatures to enter inside the home what about air passage are there any open spaces in this type of building. Can this structure be plastered and is it recommended if someone doesn't like the look of brick

    • @eurekahomes8874
      @eurekahomes8874  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is one structured mould for the size- look as it appears(230mmx220mmx115mm). The bricks have depressed and projected ends( groove and tongue) that fit into each other in the pattern they appear. No crevices appear from exterior to interior as everything closes up. The color can be varied depending on the selection of the laterite. This is interlocking brick 🧱, yes it allows for plastering if the client wishes so. Thank you.
