when you started to cry talking about disappointing your parents, truly felt that. it does hurt to disappoint persons, especiallllyyy your parents, but once you feel secure in your decision, then there support will come , some time down the road. Your parents will forever be in your life, and I am sure , despite how you are feeling now, you are going to be happy with this decision youve made, and your parents would always be there for you.

"In order to live your life you have to disappoint people" I feel the same way at the moment. Life feels so stagnant and repetitive. I know I'm the one that has to break the cycle or I'll forever be miserable doing something I don't like. I'm looking to take my career in business and being creative full force and take time off of school. I'm scared and don't know what's gonna happen and it's a lonely journey, but in the end it's worth it because I followed my passion. Thank you for your video and I wish you everything and the best ❤️

so proud of you! this video just came up on my recommended… I have been feeling super stuck & trapped in life & I always felt like it was bc I was still living at home. I love my parents & I’m sure you do too but when they don’t understand that we need to learn to grow by ourselves it’s hard. my boyfriend also lives with us & we are ready for the next chapter of our life (which is to move out) but things like our parents or being scared of not being finically stable plays a big role in our decision to make the move. but this video definitely helps, it will be hard but it can happen, thank you for showing us that! your video is a sign that sometimes you need to just take the risk to make a decision that is right for you! keep up the great work

girl, it’s a new time and age. If you’re mentally ready and financially stable to move out, then believe in yourself and do it! Our parents (no matter from what cultures) will be disappointed if we don’t grow up the way they wanted anyways (which is impossible to do!)

i just had to comment because i’m crying watching ur video. because i’m going thru the same thing. i’m 25 and i still live w my grandparents (they raised me) my family has always been weird but i’m currently pregnant and they are so unsupportive and just act like it’s not happening. i’m having to figure it out as a single mom w no support from my family and it’s hard and heartbreaking. i know it’s different bc this is a whole new human but just know i feel that hurt ur feeling inside because it sucks when the peoples support u want the most isn’t there. now it’s time for me to step up for me and my son and be excited about my baby even tho it’s going to be the hardest thing because it’s expensive and hard when ur by urself but we got this. ✨🦋🧿
