Chaning the samples of the materials won't do anything as long as it is set to automatic sampling in the render settings 😊Also, you can switch to bucket mode in the render view, without doing a final render by clicking the icon to the right of the lock icon.

Thanks! I did try switching to bucket rendering in the viewer though, still didn't seem to preview motion blur?
