th-cam.com/video/0kbGcnfWi9c/w-d-xo.html I know i'm a year late but there, not the same car but still fwd. If you think thats not dry track then watch conorsev he did a lot on dry track
OMG! I just don’t know what to choose between Avalon TRD and the new 508 Sport. They’re both so hot, so angry, so unique but i have to choose 1 for the next year.
Drifting by definition is lack of grip to the rear wheels, regardless of drive train or weither the slide is initiated by wheels spinning faster or locking up is a drift regardless as long as it's maintained. And seeing this car has the power it can maintain it's slide making it able to drift
If the handbrake isn’t included you couldn’t push nor perform the way Ken (a professional drifter) was able to accomplish in this video :( which disappoints me cause I would love to drift a front wheel Toyota on the track. Dreams just get crushed

🥱😴 toyota builds the most boring of all the Japanese cars imo. the supra is the only reason toyota is relevant in automotive circles yeah the celiac alltrack was cool and the ae86 is a legend but the new supra is unaffordable and the 86 is SO SLOW even the mazda’s give them the run down on the freeway.
that's not drifting, that's just dragging around dead weight. engine so weak half the shots are done in a wet track. this is trd pushing their "limits" they have truly become a bad joke.. Funny but too cheesy, campy and disgusting to be enjoyable
True the car is heavy to the point it's power isn't entirely enough to maintain a drift continually but it is drifting when the slide is maintained, drifting by definition is lack of grip to the rear wheels so it doesn't matter drive train or weither it's a braking drift or the wheels spinning faster this is indeed drifting and any drive train can indeed drift
Toyota should offer this Avalon in RWD with a v8 option as well
Tarantula M They have, but not in U.S. Market, the car is called Toyota Crown. The closest thing you can get in the U.S. is the Lexus GS
@@chanshuwun I know but can you imagine if they actually did give the Avalon the same v8 engine and rwd treatment just like the Crown?
@@Tarantulaflytrap FYI The Toyota Crown is no longer had a V8 like the rest of them midsize and fullsize 4-door siblings (except for the Century)
whyyy? thats what the Lexus is for!
@@chanshuwun
toyota crown is only available in japan i think
He said fwd drift in the same sentence I can't 😂
Yes you can clearly see it is drifting in the video. Nope, not powersliding, that's drifting.
Finally a 301-hp V6 put to good use
BASITH PH ya damn right
I like the rims on it tbh, look like Motegi rims.
My Mark x 250G is 255-hp V6 which is so good
They actually managed to make the AVALON interesting...
Well done, Toyota. Well done.
Id totally buy this in TRD package
Zay Carson dame here. That Avalon TRD is a must have sedan
0:24 that introduction made his heart drop lol
Now do a transition :P
I want to see it "drift" 2 corners one after another and exit the second one with still some momentum.
PS: on dry track.

This video proves you can still have fun with a V-6 and it seems like people have forgotten that sadly.
A limited slip and manual in this or the camry would be a banger
but can you do this with the electronic parking brake?
Please what’s the color code
Not buying it till an AWD is available for either Avalon or Camry
andy viking I’d get it on FWD
Toyota Brony FWD is sooo sick! just bought one and damn that car will not disappoint
1:38 a first gen Scion xB in the background, right.
I love the editing
So AWD coming soon?
Manu j I heard they are developing an AWD for Lexus ES, Avalon and even Camry
Toyota Brony The Platform is capable to do it.
Johnny Chan I bet man.
Can buy this superb car but i want this superb trd tshirt where can i get one ?
That’s the best dad car ever!

never thought i’d see an avalon drift
See saudian drift to camry videos drifting to stock car 🇸🇦😜
I love Mitsubishi to 💖✨
Do the TRD PRO Drift kicks come in 10.5?
Perfect for power slides
Did the release dates change?
I liked to see a Camry TRD drift car,Nice car though
looks good
Love it!!! And I love those TRD shirts.
Just make the Avalon rwd already!
Still looking at some kinda of a discount on this Avalon when they go on sale.
camry and avalon with a RWD and a manual transmission 🙏🏽 maybe a power bump
The whole point of drifting is for the rear wheels to do 90% of the work not being 90% locked up. This isn't NFS Underground dawg
"The Toyota TRD team have pushed this thing to the limit." AKA: We painted the tires and added a handbrake.
So John Ivy left Apple for this???
Sick

TRD, please make a supercharger for this car. 🙏
How can i get the this killer sport machine in Spain?
Front wheel drive never called “ Drift” , just swing 😂😂😂
CY Chee well Gen calls it though so
CY Chee drift literally is a swing with control
if a legitamate japanese drifter says its drift then it is a drift
Add in more horses and make it rwd.
drifting with the rear wheels locked up !

It's power sliding.
You can't power slide in a FWD car.
Andrew Malkin well this guy did

Should've collected money to make a flat 6 engines rather than taking them from BMW
Talk about bald spots lmao not a true drifter sorry
Is this a joke?
