I vote for keeping the raw sound actually, makes it feel like we're right there with you and yes the overheard snippets of conversations were comedy gold 😂 I love all the brass items you picked up (that jug paired with the sunflowers is stunning!) as well as the blue floral teapot 💛
Thanks for your insight, I didn’t even realise what people were talking around me until I actually looked at the final video 😂 When I was filming my plan was to add music or a voiceover so I didn’t really pay attention to the sounds around me 🤭 I’m glad you loved the brass pieces, they are always my favourite to source! ❤️
Great video. Lol at the subtitles of people in the charity shop 😂
Love the fruit it’s unique. The horses are nice. I think someone who loves horses will buy them. I think you have a great eye for vintage or antique or just exceptional.
Love the gold jug and the gold tea pot and the gold fame and the head crowns
I’m certainly not bothered about you filming on your bed, other TH-camrs do it too. I definitely love the film footage of the charity shops. Barnsley is definitely on my to do list. Loved the apple and pear. The teapots are so fancy. Great video 😊
Thank you so much Natalie! Barnsley has some amazing charity shops and there’s also Elsecar antique shop in the proximity. That one is on my list to visit soon ❤️
@@angelasvintageshop me and my 13 year old son love a bit of treasure hunting. Elsecar is a firm favourite ❤️
Lip on the brass pitcher is to hold the ice back when pouring. The crazing and stains is from age it’s to be expected with vintage or antiques. Part of the charm
Most vintage dishes have crazing and some stains. Great for displaying. Maybe not for every day use. Love it. I am a new subscriber. This is my first video. I enjoyed the shopping. Great items
Thanks so much for your comment and for subscribing! ❤️ I hope you’ll enjoy the other videos as well ☺️
So delightful to go thrift shopping with you at these ten great charity stores. Warmest thanks and friendship from the Colorado Rockies (🇺🇸)! Happy summer 🌞
ooh you came across some lovely things - I would've snapped up the jug at 2:07 (if not damaged) and the paintings, which were a steal! I like the yellow cottage one better. Also the wedgwood style jug at 7:28 and definitely the crowns, they are so cute! The petit point dish and covered bowl 8:20 I would've got too, mostly because I just bought a manicure set that match them! It's worth quite a bit so I would assume the dish/pot are too, anything with embroidery on is a good buy/sell for me.
The jasperware jug didn’t seem very good quality like Wedgwood, that’s why I left it. The oriental style jug I actually regret not buying, it was so nice and it felt very luxurious and good quality. The petit point pieces weren’t priced, I assumed that that bin had just been donated. I should have asked though, really loved them ❤️
The difference between the different stones you mentioned will come with a little experience. For me it is mainly determined by the opacity and type of veining i think and like you said the finish too. I love your videos so much and hope you continue x
Thanks so much for watching them! I aim to post a new video on Friday 🥰
Crazing and staining is QUITE desirable. I exclusively buy crazed and stained dishware.
Crazing and staining are actually beautiful and shows its age 😊
Do you keep and style any of the items in your home? That would be nice to see if you do. So many nice items! I wish I was in the UK. 😊
@@booklady8888 I do but my home is still a work in progress, nothing impressive so far ☺️ I’ll share some of the areas once I’m done decorating ❤️
You made me miss thrifting in the U.K. Which area were you thrifting in plz as I'm coming back.❤
@@angelasvintageshop Oh that's great! I've been there before and I'm coming back next year. My friend stays in Castleford
@@cherylpatrick1386 that’s not too far! Leeds has some great charity shops too 🤩
@@angelasvintageshop Been to Leads many times too. We should stay in contact so when I come back next summer we could shop together.
you would risk getting copyright strike for the music in the raw sounds and your video would be demonetized and taken down
Please do not use the word "haul" its so Amercian
I watch from California. There's nothing wrong with haul. Love your videos ❤
Do you like the raw sounds during the shopping part, or should I add some music next time?
No to music😊
@@thecottagepotagerI also thought it would be more interesting with the raw sounds but I wasn’t sure if it’s just me 😂 Another option would be to make a voiceover 🤔
I would rather not hear talking in the background.
@@angelasvintageshop Sorry ...I don' t like these sounds
Please no music
