    About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.

    Staring at an object in front of me while watching/listening this video. Eyeballs were about to pop out 🤪Great timing. Very helpful!I’m currently working on the visual field. When walking outside, occasionally I felt like everything was coming to me (like 3D movie things flying so close to you) that I needed to step back. Warning really need pay attention when driving doing this practice. Personal experience 😥🤧

    very hypnotic to focus on your eyes, and listen....then hilarious to realize, there is no face, no eyes, no depth, no space...just pixels on a screen radiating.....there is no voice, just digitized vibrations in my earphones......you are not an illusion, you are a soul radiating to me through a wifi medium. 22years ago, I received photos/messages on email from the other side of the world, China....I sculpted that face from those photos, responded to her thoughts in written words, thoughts from a remote soul emanating to me through the computer medium.....Today she is my wife, we have 5 children, virtual reality, became intimate reality. Life is amazing, but I don't really know what its is.

    Man, you are good at this!
    I truly appreciate how you can point to the subtleties of this whole non-endeavor, without complicating or obscuring it’s fundamental simplicity.
    Not word salad at all, at least not for me.
    I have not yet worked with this new way of seeing beyond listening to the video, but I can already feel how it’s changing my sight.
    I find the mirror analogy very helpful. It helps me notice this visual filter I had previously never really considered. Plan to work with it more deeply right now.
    And, by the way, whenever I hear you talking about something that I don’t get (back to your “word salad” question) I pretty much assume it’s just something I’m not ready for yet, rather than that there’s a problem in your expression of it. Because you’re talking to a crowd of us with varying relationships to what is being taught, I would imagine it’s not uncommon for some of us not to “get” the daily lesson 🤬😴😎. But again, my experience is that you are consistently and exquisitely clear with your pointing…

    I did the exercise as instructed at the end of the clip. Took a while to still the mind, and eyes closed: reached the vastness space, where the blackness seems to become dimensional. Eyes opened, intuited intention to "show me truth" and noticed. The overlays kicked off. Kept intuiting and trying to feel this essence of the visualness. Without the "lens of the mind". Tricky! What happened can only be recounted as a very nanosecond "experience", and a "feeling" (nostalgia, mesmerizing awe... Then the overlays snapped on) why the awe? What haze! Questions. I remember a hazy glowing around what was in front of my face. An ordinary bathroom sink. For a brief split second, I felt it to be mysterious and alive with intelligence. I felt it as my own awareness and presence and then a thought came to say, "Don't be so feeble", "That's stupid." 🙂✨

    Thank you for the guidance. The mirror analogy is perfect! Another shift just happened. As soon as you said “ there is no out there and there is no in here” that’s where the intimacy is felt. Everything, everything is a reflection of the mind! Again thank you for the reminder/pointer.

      That's great. One thing to potentially investigate is what exactly is being referenced during the day that "adds" form, distance etc, like not conceptually but actually. Like if I said look at that painting ewhere do you find the redness, you'd look as clearly as possible at those colors to try to discern it IN the visual. I've had this question a few times lately I should make a vid about it

    It is interesting to perceive a sense of euphoria as the perception shifts. It felt as if reality was becoming thinner and thinner until it just popped to full non dual.
    Would love to hear more ways about working with the sight, as it seems to be the most difficult sense door.
    Something to consider is how to hold this view while moving in the world, how to work with the other senses like hearing or sensations. Seems harder to break free from the sense of distance as there’s sound moving in and out or when the wind is touching the skin.

    I've noticed that if I can sort of tap into flow while playing video games, I can slow my thoughts down and watch myself play to some degree (specifically games that are 100% mechanical). When this happens, because there are so few thoughts, when they do happen there is a noticeable sensation behind my nose kind of in my skull. A thought will happen, and I don't feel anything, and then when I recognize it as one thought and go back to being in flow it will feel like hollowed out behind my nose / eyes. People always talk about some sort of contraction, is this at all what you're talking about? I'm going to be embarrassed if this is just some muscle I'm flexing accidently or something.
    As always, thanks for the daily videos, I watch them every night!

    • @SimplyAlwaysAwake
      @SimplyAlwaysAwake  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I wouldn't necessarily call this contraction but it is very common once we begin to disidentify from thoughts we will notice energy densities in the face, behind the face and eyes.

    So badass! And we could say that our biological perception of color always happens at zero distance from our retinae (check out that plural!) Right? We don’t perceive a red apple that’s five feet away AT a five-foot distance. We perceive it inside the mind only, at zero distance. Or as Charles Peirce called it, the Phaneron.

    I seem to be forgetting easily lately. I seem to be able to be in the moment with the activity I am doing but forget about meal and sleep time, dinner cooking, laundry to be hung out, etc. if it’s not in the room I am it doesn’t exist, lol. Is this normal, is it just a phase?

    • @SimplyAlwaysAwake
      @SimplyAlwaysAwake  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes likely. It's not uncommon to have changes in memory at various times especially about things to do later in the day when not actively thinking about them and staying in presence. Of course always can get checked out if gets worse or worry about any other cognitive changes, in case a medical issue is occuring.

    Well, here is a topic for the future, inspired by this video. It seems that non-dual teaching is suggesting that there is only one awareness. And that awareness is able to observe the "reality" through sense gates, or however you want to call them. And that is the only thing there is. And also there are no people/subjects in this awareness. And even though awareness is the same, people are observing reality in different places. For instance this one cannot claim that it is able see what someone else is seeing, or know what someone else is thinking. So, how can it be claimed that all are the same awareness if such thing cannot be observed. Or can it?

    • @SimplyAlwaysAwake
      @SimplyAlwaysAwake  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      check out my video "the awareness trap" The perception of there being some background awareness or all encompassing awareness is seen to be illusory with clear non-dual realization

  • @edwardcottrill584

    Hi Angelo. I have a few questions. Does seeing reality like this interfere with your life? Can you still do your job while seeing that everything is everywhere at once, or can you turn on certain mental "overlays" at will for those purposes? How did this way of being affect your process of finding a romantic partner? Finally, have any "siddhis" arisen as a result of your awakening -- e.g. if you look at people in this way, can you see their "auras"? What about "remote viewing"? (I am not interested in cultivating siddhis, but the literature is rife with them, so I just wondered what your experience is in this respect.)
    Thanks for the videos. I'm getting a lot out of them. 😊

  • @gantonia99

    I don't know if we're experiencing the same thing but when let my visual perceptual filters drop vision becomes very 2 dimensional but kinda of holographic in a sense that individual layers stand out more and individual objects can fill up perception completely without a sense of distance because there is no real sense of self.

      Usually if you’ve had awakening, identity experienced as consciousness/ I Am / Awareness then attention will naturally flow to the body sense. With this one can begin work with emotion and working toward mind-body drop rather than just mind. Then non-dual realization will be natural and spontaneous

    I’m struggling with this though experience unified non separation often out in nature which for some reason is easier (haven’t worked out why as I get it with inanimate objects like bark and rock as well as plants and water) indoors is harder - the door does seem ‘out there’ and separate from me, I’m the observer of it - it’s on the other side of the room and I have to get up and walk over the floor to touch the door which ‘proves’ it’s over there. I’m struggling to see that it’s not.
