Cracker of a bike the Interceptor, I've had no issues with the pirelli phantoms done just over 5000 miles on them now even pushing on in the dry , had no issues in the wet but ride to the weather and road conditions, the engine as you say is superb really got some torque, every time I have been out I've never been disappointed, enjoy it mate hopefully we'll catch up soon 👍🏻
Hi Mitch, Just subscribed to your channel, Enjoying your video on picking up your Interceptor, I fitted mine with the DNA Air Filter, motone tank pads, Sump guard, 16 tooth cog conversion, (i ride solo most of the time), Also the Touring seat 👍 Absolutely superb 👍 Nice to meet up with you on the One Ride' at the Humber Bridge, Cheers Paul Foster 👍
Cheers Paul, A pleasure to meet you too. The 16T cog is on my list of things to do. I’ve not much more tinkering to do. I’ve got some Stadium bar end mirrors to go on at some point. Stay safe and I’m sure we’ll bump into each other again mate 👍.
@@VFRMitch Cheers Mitch Same to you, Those Stadium Bar end Mirror's, I'm thinking of getting some for my new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 , I've also got, but they must be the fold in type, Yes hopefully we'll meet up again 👍 All the best Cheers Paul
Looks nice as do all the Enfield's I am a fan don't currently have one but that could change next season gotta get myself a test ride first to get a flavor .Good watch look forward to more .cheers 👍
Thanks for watching. I’ve come from a 1200V4 to this little beauty. I don’t miss the step down in power. She’s got more than enough for the UK roads. More vids coming soon. 👍
I bet you so a big difference throwing a leg over the RE compared to the VFR, and the weight difference too. When I took my new XSR 700 out for the first time it felt like I was riding a bicycle compared to the big VFR as it was felt so light, 110 kg lighter in fact and much much narrower. Anyways enjoy your new ride, and I’ll enjoy watching your future uploads, all the best Gareth 👍🏻 Oh forgot to ask, what mileage did you put on the VFR.?
Yes the weight difference is about 80-90 kg. It’s certainly noticed. The RE feels so much more agile. A lot more fun to ride. The big V4 only had 14.5k on the clock and was a legend of a bike and will be missed. Having 2 bikes currently would not have made financial sense for me. Also space is a factor. The RE takes up a lot less room in the garage. Thanks for watching the channel. I had a 3 year owner review all scripted and ready to roll, never got time to shoot it. Might have to do it Stuart Filingham style. It might work.
I guess I should get a Royal Enfield next season. They are very beautiful bikes and seems to be a good ride. It would replace a Hyosung GT650i. My other bikes are a Honda CB SevenFifty and a Honda CBR300R. The CBR300R also has the horn and blinker the other way around then my other bikes and i honk frequently 😉
Wondered what you’d been up to since we meet on Crazy Legs Sub ride out Enjoy the new bike, that’s on my “possible next bike” list Does that mean you’re now known as RE Mitch?
Hi Matey, Hope you are keeping well. It’s a cracker of a bike. Still VFRmitch although I also have a desperate Instagram account for the Interceptor which is :- @mercury_mitch. Stay safe
The CEAT tyre’s are great, I am on my second set ,no problems.I ride hard and have scraped both foot pegs, don’t listen to uniformed people.
I was happy to get rid of them and fit Bridgestone BT46's. Great improvement IMO.

Great stuff pal 👍
Beautiful bike best of luck
Thanks for watching . Stay safe 👍
Once run in a few people have put a 16T front sprocket which will help lower the revs in top at cruise
Cheers for watching Kevin. It’s a mod that’s on my radar 👍
@@VFRMitch OK, well welcome to the royal enfield family and enjoy the ride 😁👍🏻

Thanks for watching. Have a ride on one and see how you go. They are very addictive.
Big difference maté between that and your crosstourer.
A big difference. This suits my current needs better. The VFR was a special bike.

I thought you said you can’t beat a Honda !!! I thought you would’ve gone for a Honda nc750 DCT?
Hi Donna. I thought I’d try something with more character. Since bought a second Enfield 🤣
Not a fan of the black wheel rims 🤷♂️
Silver wheels now only available on the Orange Crush version. Would be nice for it to be an option. Easily done if you really want Silver.
