Omg! Prof. B. Mahadevan is just superb! A Superb teacher or a Guru! He gets totally lost while teaching! One can see his passion for our rich heritage! His passion for sanskrit is amazing! I could also see his frustration when he says we do not know sanskrit and we do not know how rich our culture is and how everyone, but us, are taking all the benefits of our rich ancient wisdom! One could see his hidden anger or frustration when he says how others say that we, Indians are stupid, when, in reality, it was India who gave basic and advanced wisdom, knowledge, and all sciences to the modern world! Thanks, Professor, for the beautiful vdo! May God bless you! Wish the slides were better readable!

The parable is a killer way to finish this beautiful talk. Hope more and more Indians open their 'boxes' individually and collectively, till a point is reached where the Governments can no longer turn a blind's eye. And that would be a turning point in India's history. Praying to see that day in the near future.

It will happen! though only by our collective efforts - one by one - each drop matters!

I think simultaneously learning Sanskrit we should also make the Sanskrit applicable to the real world and the Government of India should establish a research centre who will be only on the basis of our text they will innovate like the building of a house like the food the surgery the medicine the Ayurveda. And then when it will be widely used by us. And at that time the westerners use gas lighting for us to saying that what are you doing it's not scientific its ilogical but we have to keep doing and keep improving our ancient science .....

to propagate and perpetuate the language of Gods, Samskrutam, I strongly feel it needs to be started at the primary school level. But the problem is we need teachers to teach. Besides the parents also need some basic knowledge. So the need of the hour is to create awareness about the importance of the Indian scriptures and traditions. I wholeheartedly praise the efforts that are being continually done by The Chinmaya Vidya Peeth. For any endeavour there has to be a beginning which you people have started. Such Institutions have to come in large number. I am sure that we shall see the nation growing in that direction.

सर्वेभ्यो नमोनमः 🙏This is only a general question - Why do we still use the word sanskrit everywhere instead of samskrutham or samskruth?
Are not their respective shabdhaartha vastly different? बहुधन्यवादाः 🙏

Mythology as I read somewhere comes from word mythos. mythos (plural mythoi or mythoses)
Anything transmitted by word of mouth, such as a fable, legend, narrative, story, or tale (especially a poetic tale).
A story or set of stories relevant to or having a significant truth or meaning for a particular culture, religion, society, or other group; a myth, a mythology. (Wiktionary), So it is oral account and not false account.

My only wish in this life is to make an effort to learn this ocean of Amrit called Sanskrit and unravel the full secrets/truths of the minutest to the very mysteries of this cosmos. if not in this life, certainly in this souls next avatar and to share those secrets with the rest of life in this cosmos for every life to enhance/rise to its fullest possibilities. That is the ultimate possibility in this Gods own script called Sanskrit.
