Somehow I missed this video until this morning. (29AUG) Really enjoyed this one!!! ❤❤❤ Last time I was at the Alaska State Fair was in 1988. Seems like it has grown quite a bit. Not trying to pry, but have you lived in Anchorage for a while? Do you remember when the AVIATOR MOTEL on 4th Avenue was the HOLIDAY INN? And the brick building on the corner of 4th and E Street was a McDonald's Restaurant. Back in the 70's that area was just a big drop off from the 64 Earthquake. I forget what it was called. Oh. ART WE THERE YET are leaving Alaska. Their most recent video was a farewell to Seward. They've lived there for the past two years. I hope you have a great Labor Day weekend. Stay safe. And, as always, I THANK YOU for sharing your trip!!! It is always a pleasure to "ride along".

Thank you!❤️ I came to live in Alaska in 2012. 😊I actually still do not know a whole lot about Anchorage or Alaska as of yet but I do love living here even in winter. Alaska is beautiful. I love Alaska’s nature and wildlife!😊 Too bad Art We There Yet is leaving Alaska, I know you love watching them.❤️

Omg, is that a flower competition at 2:29? You should've entered your enormous, gorgeous peonies! You probably would've won.

Yes it is. Thanks!😄❤️ My peonies are all done blooming this year. What I have left blooming right now are my oriental lilies!😊

@@AkEve11 I'd love to see a short video of your lilies if you have the time. I'm so excited about all the flowers I can potentially grow in my future garden when I move there. I initially wasn't sure there would be much variety in what could be planted so far north, but your videos showed me otherwise and that makes me really happy. 😃

@@llwpeaches ❤️ There are more perennials I see in other gardens that I do not know of. Will search for their names and maybe try planting them next year. Not all plants labeled as perennials come back every year. Make sure that the plant is for zone 4 or zone 3!😊👍

This looked like a lot of fun. One question. Is this the same fair that we saw the traffic for in the Hatcher Pass video? Thanks for a great video.

@@billholden5271 yes, but that was on a Saturday… so more people were at the fair. This one was on a weekday. General parking is free. We thought it was $25 on the website!😂
