in my opinion i don't like this mashup because of the key of the two songs are not in the same key, but the idea of the two songs in a mashup is good but next time it's better to put the songs in the same key. "black swan's" key is lower than "cysm" so when the video started i thought that txt's key/pitch would be higher. but i still applaud you because the mashup sounds clean.
hi! i’m aware that they aren’t in the same key! it was a creative decision because even though there are parts where you can tell it’s not in the same key, i prefer it this way to the version where i put them in the same key. my audio profs taught us that we should try “break the rules” more when it comes to creating mixes, so i decided to do that. thanks for your feedback though!! it’s good to know that somebody was able to notice!
@@ellipses oh okay that's good becuase i thought that you may have been a beginer in mashups because my first few were offkey, but i also tried to make a mashup with fantasia and punch but i couldn't put them in the same key since they were too far away so i just left them as is.
i just listened to it & the way you mixed it made work so it’s good! we should collab on something some time! even though i’m not sure how that would work for mashups lol
