Rihanna's songs do lend themselves well to being interpreted in ASL but make no mistake - this girl created and owned her own performance. Her interpretation, her sign choices, her attitude, energy, & playful facial expressions brought visuals to words. She must have some residual hearing because everything was so on point, like ridiculously on point.....from the beat aligning with her movements & gestures, perfect. Girl just made herself a career! Not to mention - the girl has rhythm, can dance, and straight up did not hold back - loved her.

These are truly interpretations of the meaning of the songs. It takes quite a bit of time and thought to work it out. She did a brilliant job. Not to mention her energy and gracefulness. Here's a cool fact, Justina Miles was valedictorian at the model secondary school for the deaf. She also won the silver medal with her team for track in the 2021-2022 deaflympics in Brazil, representing the U.S. This woman is amazing.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💃🏽👠
She deserves some sort of award for that, I hope someone in broadcast communications or the hearing impaired community was paying attention and makes sure she gets nominated for something.
