Thanks Matthew, great video. Can you just import the layout of the actual sky130 transistors and just connect them? Or these layouts are not available in the PDK?
Magic has an option to import a spice netlist which will give you all the transistors in your design. But so far I haven't found a nice way of using that. There's things like contacts and guard rings added that you probably do not need and I haven't found a nice wat to remove them without getting into a while lot more work than it would be to just start drawing them by hand. For now, the manual method simply gives you much more control and results in much nicer layouts for me
Can't wait for the zero-to-ASIC demo!
Makes me appreciate Microwind 3.0. It's able to do all of that, in a single program
What does the complete suite cost ? There is no mention of price on their website.
@@BobBeatski71 I don't know... The company has been through changes. I came across it while watching other tutorials from a while ago
thanks for the video.. Could you explain a little bit more about the size? why the 1000nm witdh of the n well...etc.. Very appreciated this
how did u create that simulation.spice file
Wow love your channel!
So good!
thanks! If you like this one then subscribe to my Zero to ASIC channel, it's more focussed on this kind of stuff.
Thanks for sharing
Is there a tutorial to install xschem and magic along with SKY-130nm?

@@rjordans Thank you!
can you recomend me book of CMOS VLSI magic?
How can I design a programmable integrated circuit using magic cmos vlsi?
U just need to learn verilog pass through openlane 😊
@@varunmajji6514 I have some knowledge of verilog with fpga, I will investigate what is openlane. Thanks for your answer
