"You can't make this shit up" is honestly the best content you guys do. I love all the how too's. I love the product reviews. But this shit is gold.
Thanks for posting these Brian they're always great. I admire the size of your gargantuan balls for wanting to continue to both operate a business and deal with retail customers in this world where everyone is utterly entitled, self-absorbed and utterly devoid of compassion for their fellow human beings.
Thanks for watching! End of the day the majority of our customers are amazing (like Trevon) and all you can do is to laugh at the ones who pull this shit. - Van
The contest is obviously great for your fans and viewers, but the way you are choosing the winner is awesome! Can’t wait to see the customer parody videos! The Shark is too small for my average sized dome piece.
Gonna get that video posted tomorrow! I’ve got a great idea! Love everything you do, the knowledge, the truthfulness and the company!
Best moto related videos on TH-cam! There has to be some many other instances where this happened and you did not think to make a video…and how many other vendors have similar stories probably from the same customers! Thank you and have a great day👊
This is epic- great comparison between two customers as well
Fortunately the first example represents the majority of our customer base here at STG. - Van
A great company I have to say I’ve tried to purchase a full Akra exhaust for my R6 2x one from revzilla and one from STG. Sadly the distributor made a mistake on both orders sending the same side headers but the customer service I received from everyone at STG was great, from GM Kris all the way down. At the time you could imagine my frustration after paying for the exhaust 2x but these guys worked hard to try to help me out and I absolutely will be ordering the exhaust again from them. 3rd times a charm or whatever they say.
Sorry to hear about the issue and happy the team got you sorted out. Pretty sure I saw these headers on Kris's desk. Thank you for your business, it is appreciated! - Van
Dearest Brian, I reached out to Shoei to express my concern that their shirt sizing may not be as accurate as the STG website. They ensured me that their sizing is correct and that some customers *cough* continue to order shirts smaller than they should to make themselves appear larger. They mentioned shipping a lot of extra small shirts to a location in Michigan. They went on to say they, in fact, have other sizes in stock ready to ship.
I also recently visited my eye doctor and I was concerned that reading glasses might be on back order, they ensured me that frames are readily available and there was no need to try and tape them together.
The shirt is a size large and there are no lenses in these glasses bro! - Van
These return videos are great fun :)
The main reason I decided to do this one was to show the contrast. Our Returns Manager actually emailed Trevon with a link to the video so he could see the shout out we gave him for getting it right. - Van
Unfortunatly I have a size M instead of a size S.
But I can't wait to see someone do that parody video 🤣
@@sportbiketrackgear I wish 😂. I've have a Race R pro before. And A size M fit me just right.
I ordered some rst Evo3 boots about 3 months ago. Well I dicked up and ordered a size to small ur crew was awesome I reached out they
helped me pick the right size and got them back to me in a 4 day turn around u guys kick ass leave the tags on and pack them back up the way u receive it. It's not rocket science keep on kicking that ass stg!!!!!!
I was cracking up before you even patted the Racer Boy on the back!
Brian Vans you are a savage 😅 I’m a track rider and love the “you can’t make this shit up “ series !! You need to make a complete moron list on poster board and display it in the back ground of these videos and rank them. Kinda like the do in congress when the senators roast the applicants blatant bias ha ha (my favorite so far is the complete tard that tried to return a cheap Chinese exhaust for the nice expensive one he tha it he was getting a ninja 400. This would be epic ! Keep up the good work ! Ryan.
out of curiosity is it possible to file an insurance claim with the package carrier for broken helmet? Or it's gonna get rejected because the shipping box is not damaged?
Box was undamaged and it was not packaged properly. Is what it is. - Van
Hey ryan! I’m currently looking to buy my second helmet and would like your opinion on the product. I’m looking at the shoei rf-1200 I tried it on it’s perfect but I also like the style of the x-15. With that being said what would you recommend? Should I get the rf-1200 or save up a bit more for the x-15 or are there better helmets in that price range like the alpinestars ?
IMO the X-15 is the best overall helmet on the market. That said the 1200 or 1400 (more current model) are both excellent helmets. If you are better off saving the money either of those are also great options. - Van
I’m just curious… but the UPS or FedEx guy was certainly not keeping that box right side up during the duration of its delivery, not to mention the way they toss packages in and out of the trucks and while sorting. I really can’t imagine the issue was because the helmet was put inside the bag (which has padding on all sides) upside down.
With that being said, it was probably put in upside down because it was broken before it was shipped and the customer was trying to cover it up.
All of the helmet brands have developed packaging to help prevent damage during shipping. This Shark comes with a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the padded helmet bag that the bottom of the helmet is supposed to sit on. There is also a second helmet bag that the helmet goes into before it goes into the padded bag. The customer put the helmet in the padded bag upside down with the vent sitting on the cardboard and threw the other bag inside the helmet. This put pressure on the vent and broke it.
When it is packaged properly (the same way it was when we sent it out) the box can be placed in the truck in any direction. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Ah. My Bell came with the same style bags. The drawstring bag doesn’t offer much support but I can see if there’s cardboard on the inside how that could create a pressure point. Man, people are just lazy and inconsiderate.
I wish that dude had bought a medium
Nobody has made a video yet. I think it is because this is a size small. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear damn. I guess no one with a small head thinks they're funny enough 😂
It is important to stay positive in such situations… you can always earn more money, but money can’t buy you health (nerve cells do not recover :) )
Much like the presenter's T shirt. The helmet customer should have bought one size larger.
LOL this t shirt is a size large and fits like a glove bro! - Van
Again Some peoples children....Tell the helmet guy to file a complaint with the return shipper he used.
End of the day this is not the shippers fault, it was packaged improperly. - Van
I totally agree! Just saying if dude wants to play the game put it back on him.
I do wear a small but I don’t think I’m talented enough to make a funny video. I’ll tell you a true story instead and maybe I get a consolation prize…two weeks ago I bought a very low mileage BMW S1000XR from a dealer out of state. I paid to have it shipped to CA, and on the first ride one of the screws came out of the bar end and I lost the weight and the bushing, which was $80 from the local dealer. I asked them if this was covered under warranty, as the bike is basically brand new and has a 2 years left on the factory warranty. The parts manager told me that hand guards are installed by a tech upon assembly and that the selling dealership (out of state) should make it right. I contacted the sales manager who sold me the bike and explained the situation and when he realized that clearly the tech they paid to inspect the bike before it was picked up did a terrible job. They shipped me the new parts in a few days and made it right. Things happen in online transactions, and the real test of character and reputation is how you address and resolve them. Kudos to the dealer and to you guys for putting the customer first.
Happy to hear the dealer did what was right. End of the day we all make mistakes and deserve the opportunity to sort it out. - Van
Im tiny. Im not sure of my helmets size and its falling apart.
@sportbiketrackgear hehe thanks for the encouragement, but I'm not the creative type.
Retail sucks, markup has to be 100%+ because of Morons returning merchandise they should never have bought. Lose -Lose for both Reseller and Honest Customer.

I'd love to do a comedy skit of an install video where through each process Vances shirt keeps getting increasingly tight to the point of ripping near the end and it just never gets mentioned
Do it before someone steals your idea
I can't believe no one has made a video yet. Tomorrow is the last day. - Van
@InfamousTub you should. Especially when no one else has, Yet.
@@sportbiketrackgearI have made one and posted! Not sure if you’ve seen it, I tagged you as well
@@MOTO-JOJOi just saw your video too!
