Meh, Melbourne over Sydney. Sydney has the obvious tourist traps, the Opera House, Bridge and Tower, that's pretty much it.
Melbourne has loads of museums, parks and other attractions. Eureka Tower as it's observation deck offering. The many sports venues in the city, it's theatre culture, markets, food culture, shopping culture and so forth.
Sydney is just too overpriced, looks aren't everything, it's what you can actually do when you stay that matters.
Berlin isn’t beautiful, it’s just interesting. I’d rather put Hamburg, Lübeck or Heidelberg in there. All of these are very interesting city (Lübeck is probably the least known of these three cities, the video producers might don’t even know the city), have a great nightlife (especially Hamburg!!!) and are very beautiful cities!

Invalid Crazy the cities don’t look nice like when your in the streets and it’s so busy the people in ny always seem to be in a rush the only thing I like in ny is the pizza I hate that weather to London has better people but it’s just not beautiful not including the London bridge or stuff like that once you get out of the city fields and small towns those are gorgeous LA is far better the weather it’s more laid back and more beautiful
I really feel privileged as I’ve been to all cities in this list(except for Rome and Istanbul) and 26 countries. I love traveling and won’t stop.

There's this thing called Paris Syndrome, about Japanese people who think its all great, and find out its shitty.

That's quite a simple generalization. I lived in Paris several times in french families to learn the language. There are rude people and there are polite people just like everywhere. But when I see American tourists, sitting in a french café and shouting loudly in the worst American english possible for more food, I don't blame the french for being not that polite ;) Also I wonder why "being clean" always is so important for you guys. Perfectly clean cities usually are the most boring cities. My home Berlin is not clean, but it's alive. It sparkles with culture and ideas, art and music. Those things don't grow on a antiseptic ground. I lived many years in Switzerland - and know what perfectly clean means :) *yawn*

I'm from Vienna, and I wouldn't want to live anyhere else. We have tons of cultural offerings, great cuisine, one of the highest standards of living in the world and some very nice landscapes for an inland city in a landlocked country. If we had sea access it would be pretty much perfect.
I've also been to Reykjavik a couple of times. It's much smaller but very pleasant. Some nice bars, pubs and cafes, and a great scenery. In the summer months I encountered a surprisingly mild climate. Food's nice but quite expensive.

I don't even want to start talking about stuff like the streets around the 2nd - 22nd district, the awful ÖBB (Austria's Train company). or the shitty police and military in this country.

I went to Rome, Venice, Milan, Munich, Paris and Amsterdam and I have to admit Rome and Paris are the MUST visit. Paris was absolutely amazing, the people were super nice when it came to questions and it has some of the most amazing sites. Rome is such a place of history and it's a place I'd definitely visit again.

I'm italian and I live in London now. It's a stunning city, full of life and opportunities. I've been to Rome and the first word that comes to my mind is eternal. Berlin is great too! Now NY is waiting for me!

Ollie Cherpussie England and the UK are two different things, use the terms properly, also don't forget England invaded Ireland and wiped out a lot of the native population and implanted their own people which has lead to ethnic tensions between, in general, Catholics and Protestants which lead to the island being split in two which lead to situations like the troubles. Love love love! I want to travel all these magnificent places! The world is simply stunning in all it's splendor.
I am a Malaysian Chinese and I like HK ! I been to New York, Toronto , Barcelona and Japan. Hongkong winter is Fantastic! Between 11 to 20 Celsius, not too cold! I love the many outlying Islands which I getaway easily by ferries, for a good lunch and relax! I love the HK island city for its landscape kind of hilly and you could climb with the stairs while visiting some picturesque historical buildings or interesting sight! Good foods are everywhere! Super vibrant! And most importantly HK is a SAFE City!!! Unlike many other nice cities which have high crime!..... Rome , Barcelona, Paris( due to many immigrants)!!

I've visited several of the cities on this list, as well as many more around the world. For my money, Rome and Paris are the top two most beautiful and interesting cities I've ever been to. No modern 'new world' metropolis can compare.

Perhaps expectable if you're looking for cultural hubs and highly developed metropolitans. I mean not very many people (especially in the US) would be looking to take trips to say Lagos, Bogotá, Kolkata, Tehran, or Manila. When you think of cities like those, it's hard to think of actual sites to see or events to attend. The cities on this list, on the other hand, are tourist hot-spots, drawing in people from these "developed," "powerful," and "recognizable" nations. It may very well have to do with "Eastern vs Western" cultures.
I miss Shanghai so much. I went for a summer and have wanted to go back ever since I got on the plane home. :(

What I think I miss the most is just how genuine the locals are. In America nobody ever helps anyone. If you walk down the streets of New York, for example, and you are lost and you ask someone for help they just walk past you and don't even recognize your existence. It's not like that over there. Also if you walk into a high dollar store the workers will just blow you off (I've gone pretty woman a time or two). Also just the culture and the food. Nothing better than that. YOLO swag if you take Line 3 on the metro and get off on Jinshajiang road that is where I lived. It is a great neighborhood full of genuine souls and also right next to global harbor and ECNU.

LA is the worst city I've ever visited. Worst traffic in the western world and most homeless in the world. And if you don't have a car the public transport is non existent and the city is huge. If you do have a car you'll be in traffic.
I've been to Berlin, Amsterdam, New York City, Paris, London, Prague, and Munich.
Out of all of these London is my favorite, because it has great atmosphere, history, plenty to do, and great people.
All the other cities mentioned are great and worth visiting , but London really stands out

As a New Yorker, London is the best city in the world. It has the perfect balance of history, diversity and modern architecture/skyscrapers. It pains me to see many old buildings in New York getting destroyed and being replaced by new glass skyscrapers. It’s great that many buildings in London and other em European cities have protected status
Singapore and Toronto are some great cities as well! They're both really multicultural and full of awesome food.

If I had to pick somewhere in Canada to call a destination city, I wouldn't pick Vancouver. It would either be Toronto or Montreal because of the vast old and new culture meshing together, the great music, theater and film scene, the growing food world, etc.
Toronto & montreal is good until winter comes, then you'll want to live in Vancouver.

Lol Toronto not even mentioned. It has the former tallest free-standing structure on the planet and the largest film festival in the world. It is also the most multicultural city on the planet. Seriously, Toronto is probably the greatest city in the world. Nowhere will you find nicer people, better entertainment, better food, or more concerts anywhere.
Pretty much every Canadian city is like that. Canada is beautiful :). Also Toronto doesn't have the tallest free standing structure in the world anymore. Burj Khalifa took that spot. (Bad spelling.)

As someone who has been to Paris (twice), London (multiple times) Barcelona, Venice, Rome and Marrakesh, I could safely say that I would put Paris a bit lower on the list. Don't get me wrong, it is a great city, but once you have seen the landmarks, there is very little to do, and transport is an absolute nightmare. Still, was a nice list anyways.

Paris is a very dark city. I have been there and I didn't feel happy. Something about it not right. I prefer a city in Belgium called Ghent. It was very nice and the ladies were wonderful.

Cultural activities, cinema, sightseeing, tasting the amazing food etc. No.2 would probably be Barcelona, since there is plenty to do outside of football related crap. No.3 would be between Marrakesh and Paris, but most likely Paris, since the dust in Marrakesh kills my lungs.

I was in Paris. Its looks fancy and all that, but it isnt as good as many say it would be: they were intolerant (we spoke like two german words and the waitress didnt wanted to Speek english with us, until he heared we spoke russian and then they started speaking english) and it costs very much money (like 35 eur for food per person).
I would rather to go to munich, Hamburg, Verona or st. Petersburg.
But: if you search a beautiful german city, DONT go to Nürnberg, it is very ugly, in comperessing with other bavarian towns ( like Augsburg, ratisbon, munich)
