Bonnie Im 64 when I was 2 we moved to our family home where my 90 year old dad still lives. There are 2 origional neighbors there the woman bought her parents house across the street from my dad and her brother bought the house next door to my dad. They watch over him and help him out like he was their dad . Great neighbors that are like family.

I was almost two when we moved into the house where I currently live and I just turned 60 so that is 58 years, but in that time, I have seen a lot of neighbors come and go. But it is so nice when you have a neighbor like the one you were talking about. We had some people who lived behind us when I was growing up who were that way as well as our neighbors next door. And though our neighbors next door are still there it isn't the same. Wishing you all the best with your move and it is so nice that you can use your parents' home while they are gone.

I am SHOCKED at how casual you and the kids are about leaving your house, school and friends. I would be an absolute WRECK. I loathe change. It's awful how much I hate it. I'm sure you've had your moments off camera and like you said you've come to terms with it but I still would be absolutely bawling walking out the door for my last day of school!
Closet doors closed for sure! My hubby works overnights and when he comes to get his clothes out for work he laughs at me when I remind him to shut the closet door so the boogie man doesn’t get me. 😉❤

Such sweet memories. We meet neighbors across our road that offered meal time and come over to help us. It was sweet because they just moved in and we have been neighbors beside our other neighbors for 10 yrs and they never offered that. Weird. They are ALL friendly and have helped when we have asked them in the past. How is your neighbor across your street behaving? Also, don't forget your family pictures on the wall beside your front door

Bonnie & Joel, I grew up on what they called the Indian placement program back in the day. I grew up in Sandy/Draper area. I still have contact with my family. My hubby passed away from lung cancer 5 years ago. Everything is so scarce around here on the navajo reservation. I would love to enter in the giveaway. On a side note my son is leaving on his mission in a couple of weeks. I love you guys
