1979 teenage memories dancing at Birmingham Locarno/Powehouse all dayer's and elsewhere aged 13/14 + to these beautiful tunes/songs from this beautiful woman that I will cherish forever and always get up on the dance floor
Your welcome , thanks for making contact and for the the wonderful songs that always had up on the dance floor , all the very best. Andrew G @@BeverlyBremersPage
Massive hit at Wigan Casino in the mid 70,s. We always thought it was a black woman singing. We never dreamt we would ever be able to see the original video footage of her singing it back then. The wonders of the internet!
There was a massive hit (I think it made the top 5) in the US called "Girl Watcher" and until I saw the video on TH-cam, I always thought the Okaysions were black... Conversely, I thought "The Birds and the Bees" singer (Jewel Akins) was white, and then I saw a clip from a programme called "Shindig" and he was black.
Beverley Anne Bremmers was/is a huge talent, and this fabulous song was massive on the Northern Soul scene in the 70's and still fills floors nationwide to this day..
This was my all time favourite Northern Soul track, fabulous blue eyed soul, I have a demo recording and will be giving it a spin this Friday, still gives me the shivers, brilliant!
Came across this by chance yesterday, BRILLIANT, I have always loved this song, danced to it many times at Wigan Casino Club, it is one of those sounds that had the 'Wigan unison CLAP' and to see Beverly Ann makes it complete. I hope a DJ on the current circuit plays this soon. Beverly has the perfect voice for Northern Soul, in my opinion. Thanks
I miss this music. I remember listening to these songs as a kid. Thank you sweetie. I would love to see you in concert if you're ever in Albuquerque or Santa Fe. Thank you again, Beverly.
We see it coming, yet fear believing it. They've got their mind on other things. To find that one true love that stands the test of time is indeed a rarity. Sadly I feel we're wondering in the dark and blindly seeking the warmth of another's hand.
Amazing tune... amazing memories... did I think she was black.. probably not looking back on it.. but it was more about the music than trying to di-sect the heritage of person the music was coming from... obvs. the young lady has SOUL!
What year was this? I never heard it until tonight, Dec 15, 2019! Good old standard rock n roll song.. This would have been a hit for sure, if recorded and put out in 1966! Reminds me of "Don't Sleep in the Subway, Darlin'" by Petula Clark -- 1965? Think about it! Review them both!
Quality tune, but unfortunately these days it's never played,to much modern shite being played, some people need to remember their roots, and how they filled the floors with classics like this 🤔🤔

LOL Coldplay totally ripped this off for the intro riff on “Clocks”. You deserve some royalties, Ms. Bremers!

Great song. Last I checked it is not available on iTunes . I wish they had a compilation of Bev's greatest hits somewhere.
She didn't have any hits ...that's why it doesn't exist
I'm sorry that you felt that way at the time, I hope that you got alittle more mature since then, but you are untitled to your opinion.
Top notch.
This was a monster sound on the 1970's northern allnighter scene!
My dad showed me some excellent music
Thanks!
Brill :)
What Brilliant song Massive at Wigan Casino KTF
She never knew how many English Soulies this song would affect , and her performance matches a timeless track
And Scottish 😊
You can easily hear the various influences will this song.
Access Inn,Pattaya,Thailand,Nov 2017.......

Is this the only video from her performing? Looking for the He's Coming Home video ... 😉🤞
Great facial expression

Great sound but he's coming home is better for me.
Sound
Is this the "We Five" gal?
Sorry, that was Bev Bivans.
That's quite a pout.
