I’d say finish out the lotto then move on to other stuff. You’ll be drafting guys in other rebuilds anyway so w/e. And the draft isn’t that far away, so there’ll be more to do there.
Also they changed the rules to where you can talk to your own FAs right after the finals ends. So we could see some signings agreed to (not in ink idt) for extensions or w/e. Then it should cool off for the draft, then we may get some big trades there.
So ya just do the lotto then move to challenges and keep it up with the throwbacks. JMO

Definitely looks like the Bulls will finally rebuild since I imagine they want a shot at Cooper Flagg in next years draft.
I’d be shocked lol. They should’ve moved Caruso last deadline when he was at peak value. Now it’s only 1y left. They could’ve moved DeMar for like a decent 1st this season, but now he’s a UFA. I heard he turned down something like 2y/$60M or something which seems crazy by both. They are in a tax crunch tho, unless they waive and stretch Zo they’re gonna have a tough time bringing back DeMar and paying PAW while staying under the tax. They should prolly just try and find a team who wants DeMar in a S&T and try to get back something halfway decent for it. A handful of 2nds or something.
I expect PAW to want something like 4/78.5-4/83M? 17.5M Y1 w 8% raises is like 4/78.4, 18.5M Y1 w 8% raises is like 4/82.9M. I could see something like 4/$80M which is a bit under 18M Y1…but with some unlikely incentives, and maybe no player option. With how the cap is going up, his extension which’ll be 24-25/25-26/26-27/27-28…the MLE will be like 15.56M in 26-27 and 17.116M in 27-28.
4y of the 26-27 MLE would be 4y/66.9M, and the 27-28 MLE would be 4/73.6M. So 4/80 rly isn’t much honestly, but if Chicago is smart they’ll squeeze him in RFA bc I doubt anyone is sending some big offer sheet.
So maybe 4/80M with like 1M/y in unlikely incentives or 1.5/y in unlikely incentives, so it’d be 80 gtd and could be up to 84-86M. Something like 100K/y for 72+ GP or 50K/y for 68+ GP, 250K/y for 65+ GP & 38.5% or better 3P on 5.5att PER 36, 250K/y for 57.5%+ TS & 18%+ USG, 500K/y for All-DEF, All-NBA, MIP, DPOY, AS, or MVP. That’d be 1.05M or 1.1M depending on GP. If you want it to be 1.5, then you can add in $150K for 65+ GP & 2.3+ STOCKS PER 36, $250K for 65+ GP & 79%+ FT & 3.5 FTA PER 36.
