This is the perfect house for the inconspicuous person.
Unassuming on the outside, stately on the inside, and a modern look to complete the amazing tour.
The bars on the windows are a great touch! 😝
I love this about Detroit. The traditional house with all new renovations. Detroit is rising!
Bars on the window freak me out
Ikr
I’m from like 20 min from here and sad to say but they are most def needed
@@kellyparaski4262 they aren't tho, security doors are needed.. you'll only find those on houses in the hood and I can tell that neighborhood isn't "the hood" idk why ppl try to make detroit as a whole some sort of gang territory..
This video has made me lose hope on Detroit, I wanted to put some real nice houses in Detroit but it seems to me that Detroiters don't appreciate that all they appreciate is ghetto run down houses... which is sad
Never seen bars on inside of windows
The bar's are for protection because of high crimes in Detroit it's not safe
@@chrismcpherson1204 shut the hell up, Detroit isn't as bad as the media makes it 🙄.
I can tell you've never been to or seen or even lived in Detroit a day in your life.
@@theeking2955 evidently not
@@theeking2955 I haven't but I'm originally from Milford Michigan
Price please
It’s surprisingly and extremely modern. Very unexpected.🤔
Trust me it took a ton of work. This used to be a 2 family flat.
How much
One house at a time.
Its in the hood, tell by the bars on THE windows
So?
@@ceewoody7310 wdym so? That ain't okay
@@ceewoody7310 And Detroit ain't the "hood" you think it is so pls stop
@@theeking2955 all I said was “so” why did that generate 2 comments from you?
@@ceewoody7310 saying "so" means you don't see a problem with something so obviously you 'consider' that the hood when it's not and obviously don't see a problem with 'bars on the window' in the "hood" 🤨
That looks nice the outside could be done up a bit though
Wouldn't want to live next door to a dilapidate house...
Well...you gotta start somewhere. First they fix up this one...then the one next door. Then the one next door to that. Then the one next door to that. Then, 50 years later...the whole place is exceptionally beautiful again. Like it was when all those homes were first built.
@@michiganvideotours I wish they would've taker the bars out of the windows at least.
This video should had been longer to show the inside of closets, the lower level (basement). The main/master bathroom should've had a bathtub not just a shower and I understand you are trying to be safe but why show a home tour with bar gates on all the main floor windows? The home remodel/renovation is beautiful/magnificent though. How much is the price of this home property?
It sold for $279,000 on March 10th.
I grew up in Detroit in the hood and surely wouldn't spent that kind of money to live there.
But SOMONE did. And that's a good sign. Because it just might mean that "the hood" is no longer going to be "the hood" anymore. I would assume we all hope for a better quality of life for everyone, right?
@@michiganvideotours Exactly! I don't understand why people consider Detroit as "Hood" over abandoned houses
@@michiganvideotours But I'm still not understanding why there is bars over the video it looks very ghetto
@@theeking2955 - the furnace was stolen during the renovation. Twice. So the seller put bars on the windows to stop that from happening. It worked.
@michiganvideotours8893 It's crazy because I recently grew upon eastside detroit. My aunt used to spend time at Harper Woods. It isn't that bad. Just the kids needed to be disciplined. That's all I don't condone abuse, just show them a valuable life.
Shame about the house next door.
LOL I'd just buy this house to take the damn ghetto ass bars from off the window, it's NOT appealing to a buyer
neither is being robbed or worse
This has got to be a joke....lol
In what way?
How?
Y
🤔 Guess since it SOLD for $ 279,000 APPARENTLY it WASN’T a JOKE to at least ONE PERSON and in real estate THATS ALL it takes ONE PERSON TO FIND VALUE in a property.
You're just mad that detroit is rising, Go back to your Lil Farmington Hills..
