This just might be Richard's best song ever. It is nice to see him playing this with a full band. A lot of his recent performances have been acoustic ones - which are great in that they truly showcase the embryonic beauty of his stellar songwriting - but it does miss the euphoric and almost cinematic elements that characterize the studio versions of these hit classics. Enjoying the electric guitar replacement of the song's trademark solo section post the song's middle 8. That being said, it really would be great to see Richard bringing back the saxophone element to this song - since it is one of the finest moments on "Endless Summer Nights". Richard looks and sounds great and after a somewhat lackluster period creatively speaking, he seems to have regained his sonic mojo with more recent songs such as "All Along" and "Only a memory" - both of which are in the same league of the music output during this commercial prime.
The most charming man and amazing singer and songwriter as well. He is much better now than ever before.
