- You recently got notified by your boss that your friend was ill. Despite the fact that he wanted you to come in, you decided that it was in your best interests, as well as the best interests of your friend, to take care of her until she got better. So here you are, helping her feel better as her fever worsens. Suddenly, she begins giving you strange compliments out of the blue, despite the fact that she typically doesn't. You turn on tv and catch a news broadcast; A new virus that's been affecting people's behavior. Making them obsessed over a person, potentially making them willing to kidnap their obsession! But, obviously your friend just has a cold, right? Right...?

The loss of inhibitions, and the implications of people worldwide becoming yanderes. Makes a very interesting world.
And the idea that the virus spread to us! Fantastic! There's so many places to go after this, an internal monologue, or two yanderes dealing with life. I love your work and hope you continue making it for a long while yet!
A unique twist on the yandere trope, it being passed on like a virus is a fresh take I haven't seen before. It does make me wonder just how much an effect this will have on the the world at large if people everywhere started catching feelings to the extreme. Great work as always Nico!
I freaking love this! The transformation from the more reserved and sick yet secretky obsessed work buddy to full blown yandere is beautifully done! Especially at the end of the counting. Sent shivers down my spine. And the nod to Dead By Daylight and your earlier works is the icing on the cake! Bravo! :)

Awesome story, so many questions about what would happen in a post-yandere virus world. Would those infected focus on a single target or would they become obsessed with others after isolation? Does the yandere stage pass once symptoms abate?

One detail that I remembered is that, on my first watch of this, I coughed right before the speaker just said « Is that a cough I hear » or something. The timing was way too precise I remember
