    I have two of these but the v3 version. They look like quality for the price. One of them i have paired with the t238 brushless motor and shortstroked 13:1 gears. Still holding up fine👍

      Did you remove teeth from pick up side or drop off side of the sector gear, one of my gelblasters has a 80% cylinder and 20cm barrel, it's a wells gearbox funny enough and im going to throw one of these dtu's in and was thinking about short stroking the standard 18:1's

      @GNZEF thanks mate and 70% cylinder and standard cyma tappet fin and im working with gel blasters not lucky enough to have airsoft in Australia but quite simple to convert back 🤭🤫 if you are keen enough but saying that one of the last ones i got is a dytac slr ion in multicam 6.7" handguard emg mini moe stock and that has a cyma v2 cast alloy gearbox and with just the shs m130 and a shs hitorque motor it's doing 19rps and 374fps and it's fairly snappy funny enough, cyma gearbox is pretty stout for a cast gearbox but im going to short stroke the sector and throw in a t238 v14.2 to solve the over spin.Thanks heaps man some people are saying drop off side some saying pick up but i trust what you and wysh say and the proofs there in the video

      Be very careful with those micro switches on that board. Enjoy the t238 goodies! Feel free to join the discord if you need any additional help! (Link in the description)

    Seen a picture of one of these in a vfc gearbox and he had the same problem with the selector plate and had to file a v shape into the side of the selector plate that picks up the micro switch and after a lot of trial and error and not taking off to much material and finally is spot on with the semi and auto selection, i got a honey badger gel blaster ,double eagle m904 with metal forend externally with a cast aluminium wells gearbox and im going to chuck one of these in so semi is more chrisp,atm it's stock besides the enhanced green oring blue pack shs m120 and a tienley 40k and it's pushing out a healthy 350fps but this t238 dtu will make semi much crispier and they are cheap as ,i got leviathans v2 and scylla sitting here but the wells gearbox doesn't deserve one of those ,keeping those for my retroarms gearboxes 😊

      What happened to the Falcon ETU in the Double Eagle?

    • @drewmurray6480
      @drewmurray6480 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The gel blasters come with a metal wells gearbox, the first tan version comes with a rose gold handguard ,fullmetal metal forend and didn't have the double eagle logo on the mag well but the 2nd lot were the short black ones and the limited edition grey and again a metal forend and cast wells gearbox but they have the double eagle logo, the quality of what's available is getting better but we get all the sht sent over and we did have 2 aps distributors but they aren't selling for them anymore so the few that they have left in stock won't be restocked but i did get a black first gen n4 noveske 7.94 sbr that i put a polarstar F2 in and i made sure to get a grey falkor blitz 2.0 sdu but they are like $700aud so not the cheapest but the dytac slr ion range are pretty good, all metal metal cyma gearbox i got the 6.7" multicam version with the emg mini moe stock and they were about $600 but got mine on sale for $300 😅 paid more for metal receiver's and im positive that it's got a similar gearbox to the one in the video but less meat inside more like the sr25 gearbox and same blue cylinder, tappet plate

      Your etu isnt detecting the sector gear. Make sure the switch for it isnt broken.

      I typically use a Li-Po (NOT Li-Ion) GNB 11.1v 30c/60c 1500mah. I sell them on my website if you're interested. They provide excellent discharge so much so that Ive seen up to 5 rps increase vs other brand 11.1v LiPo of the similar spec.

    Does Anyone use this ETU in a VFC V2 gearbox? Any problem with the fitting? Im looking forwards to get this T238 ETU and T238 33k Motor with a 13:1 shortstroked Gearset.

    • @wyshtechairsoft

      Id honestly get the perun v2 hybrid instead as this ETU uses micro switches which is prone to wear and tear. Plus the Perun allows you to adjust trigger sensitivity without having to mod the trigger.

    May i ask, can this etu holds a 500plus fps build with a full auto? Im running a high torque motor with m175 spring on my aeg. Definitely going to watch your video again as a guide when i install one. Thanks

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on the gearset too but I think it should be fine. Just be VERY careful installing it. Those microswitches can break if you're not careful. Other than that, it makes an awesome budget etu. I recommend a brushless motor with your build if you can. It'll keep your amperage down from that heavy spring. Just dont use any gear ratio less than 18:1. Do whatever you can to reduce that amp draw and use precocking to make up the trigger response.

    • @arbino1104
      @arbino1104 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have red the comments on other reviews of this t238 brand that they are burnt easily so now im having a doubt buying one. What is your personal thought and experience with this t238 etu? Is it reliable and durable for long term use?

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Id say the users applied the wrong gear ratio, motor and battery combo and created extremely high amp draw. I built a 33rps, 1.5J m4 with this etu and brushless motor with no issues. I even used it to swap the etu on a cyma platinum m4 and slapped a 39k t238 brushless motor shooting 1.6J at 38rps. They are still working just fine. Just dont mix it with a combination that will pull ALOT of amps. Good example what would is using a 40k BRUSHED motor (very low torque, not good), 13:1 gears,a m120 spring, and horrible job shimming. I see that combo alot from new techs.

      @@wyshtechairsoft i have change my set up and now i bought a 13:1 shs gears for the high rof, brushed element ultra torque motor and planning to change the m175 spring to an m155 or m145. What would prefer for this set up, a bearing set. Or solid steel bushings? And by the way thanks for the info and answering my questions.

    • @wyshtechairsoft
      @wyshtechairsoft  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @arbino1104 what joules are you trying to get? Ideally, 1.5J would be most reliable in the long run and short stroke on the release side by at least 3 teeth. As far motors go, id go brushless if you can. You wont regret it. You're batteries will last alot longer, they are way motor torque than any brushed motor imo, and trigger response is super nice. Id do ezo bearings, the expensive stuff.

    Hello WYSHTECH Airsoft. It's a really nice video that you made, really nice explanation, not to be misunderstood. Just for info. The bushings that are standard, every time you see them promise me you will replace them, they are really bad.

      Thank you so much for the feedback. As for the bushings. This is just a test rifle to see how budget friendly I could make it and only focused on installing an ETU. Normally I do replace ALL the bushings but not this time. (Dont worry, this would never happen on a customer's rifle)
