hey Jingles really like your videos and your new craft wednesdays are super fun too! the answer on the postcard says you should watch your videos too right around 7min.:20sec. the doomturtles nose was pointed towards the valley for a trip to the oasis and thats where i would want to go while fighting in the desert ;) keep up the great work and for now i'll keep the salt mines running well most of the time okay i just work here I can't actually keep anybody under control. :)
How do you hide a Doomturtle? By being a great doomturtle driver. And possibly using BiA, Vents and camo-skill, Remember, the best way to not get hit by arty is to not get spotted in the first place. 2nd best way is to sneak between cover and only engage targets when you're screened against arty fire.
I enjoy this battle more than Kev's battle yesterday. I think it's because of the fact that I think of the M46Patton at tier 9 as an underdog. I myself never achieved to master the tier 9 and I do love to play the tier X Patton much more. Jingles, thanks for your entertainment!!
Jingles, pontificate as much as you want. We, the dutiful gnome minions, are here to bask in your glory while working the mines like the young woman in Flashdance (now how’s that for a trip down memory lane).
This game really shows the value in keeping yourself alive instead of throwing your tank away. Few days ago I had a match on Highway in my EBR 75 FL 10 literally no one went to the west side so I went south with the heavies. I hear just endless bitching from the 1 properly positioned TD and the arty about how I'm not doing my job like I'm supposed to just go over there and die for them to get 1 shot off. By helping the heavies I end up with 4 kills 2K+ damage and 2K+ spotting and the team won when if I had "done my job" and died in the opening 2 minutes of the game we would've lost for sure.
The doomturtle probably crept down the slope at the fortress wall (where banana was at the beginning of the game), turned left, and then went all the way back on the other side of that wall (where the cap is in encounter mode).
The doom turtle dipped into the valley to circle back around, so Banana never had line of sight. The T28 HTC played ring around the rosy around the rock, thus avoiding Banana’s Patton.
I think the Doomturtle went down into C3 where the cap is on encounter and looped up the hill, the T28 HTC never went all the way down to check so never spotted him.
interesting that at 16:14 cream filled banana all of a sudden became cream filled donut for a moment in the brain of the gnome overlord, but only for a moment
What on earth was the big mystery? I'm a par average player and I knew *exactly* where that T95 was and it took exactly the amount of time expected to circle around the low side and up that hill (remember: T95 - uphill it is actually not much faster than a garden slug). It managed to crawl by below before the T28 got in the gap so evaded the 50m autospot radius. IHaveanIncrediblyStupidName could've killed the T95 easily earlier during it's downhill trundle and only risked fire from one of the (unspotted at the time) Scorpions. How did an S1 get there?? Good lord... it's fast, it's a TD, it has good cammo value, and the only vehicles capable of spotting it was the IS who was too far back in the notch to spot anything or the T28 who's ass was to the open ground and, again, wedged into a notch.
2:42 Cream Filled Banana's soft turret will be his downfall...? Hmm. I would say that there's something in that for all of us, but that's probably pushing things.
Hello from lovely . Answer for the sneaky T95. Jingles, you've seen the photographic evidence of the found missing T95 IRL. It was doing the same thing. It was hiding in the open behind a bush sapling (?) and waiting. What he didn't account for, like the one IRL, was that sapling(?) growing up too big to not be conspicuous enough to draw everyone's attention to it. From: with love.
He only earned 3k since 50k of that was from the completed mission. Also, the first replay had I think 3 of those Premium HEAT rounds(And I believe these are more expensive than APCR in general) shot into a building. Most of the shots in this replay actually hit and did damage, which makes a huge difference. In total, the difference in "Profit" is only 11k, which is far more reasonable.
The M48 Patton's premium ammo costs more because its a HEAT round, and it only costs 800 more credits anyway. As long as you pen your shots at tier 10 you really wont lose credits... you wont make much either, but you wont be in the red. The only reason the M48 driver was is because he shot like 3 HEAT shells at some buildings...
Jingles please don't change :) When he doubled back to his original starting area you could clearly see the T95 heading away towards the centre , when you said nothing over there the T95 was in fact not far over that ridge :)
I don't know if it works the same way as it used to, but the King Tiger's gun was pointed down when he was spotted, so he may never actually have loaded in - crashed, DC'd or whatever during loading perhaps?
Ladies and gentleman, I give you the Supreme Pontiff of Wargaming (and pontification in general): The Mighty Jingles! (Cue loud & enthusiastic applause. Or maybe the sound of one hand clapping. Nah, I have two hands.)
the t95 problem isnt a problem, he was last visible in D2 heading east , we didnt saw the t95 bedcause he went so far east he was below the ridge, so the only think to the east were his teammates in form of obj, 257 , but considering the t95 is slow he wouldnt directly link up but be near to support but more south. so he is exactly where he should be when one thinks about it
It may only make a small difference in profit, but if I recollect correctly, the M48 yesterday (inadvertently) fired two of his gold rounds to knock down buildings, therefore completely wasting the cost with no credit return (4,800 each).
@The Mighty Jingles 2:52 - it is not a "soft turret", M46 Patton turret got buffed a while back and is pretty solid now, especially on a ridge line. If you are like Jingles, watch out, the M46 turret aint what it used to be.
Easy answer, the differences here are what premium rounds were fired and what the rounds accomplished. The M46 gets APCR, which is cheaper, and while unnecessary shots were made (see kill on Standard B, T20, Captured King, HTC28) they did damage, where as the M48 fired the more expensive HEAT ammo, expensive due to flat high pen at all ranges, and did DIDDLY DICK FUCK ALL DAMAGE WITH THEM. At least here the M46 offset some of the cost of the round by doing damage, and the round is cheaper.
I finally got tired of being cannon fodder and sold my Tier 8 tanks. I kept two tier sevens and several sixes, fives, and a few fours. I now make around half a million credits a day and I'm spending it getting my crew more skills. Premium food and other renewables round out the menu and I still have credits left to buy more premium shells. Spamming gold is SOOOOO much fun!
Maybe its me.. who pay attention to smallest signs.. yet at 7:20 you clearly can see T95 heading down to pit where he can stay, or logically try get up to starting position.. since both ways to KFB base is blocked by two tanks.. :)
The Mighty Jingles, at 13:00 when Banana fired into the rock, I think he was afraid that arty might hit him. So in hopes of evading the shot, he fired into the rock to create a dust cloud in order to hinder the artilleries’ top down view.
I haz KV2. Stronk tank. Someday I'll have a Doomturtle. In fact the Doomturtle is the reason l started playing WOT. I'm plateau-ing on the Jackson for a while and easing into Tier 7 heavies notably the T29.
The T95 circled around using the D-2, D-3, C-3, B-4 route to stay low and out of sight. The only tanks that were anywhere near him both for some bizarre reason decided NOT to chase him around the corner when his ass was to them (specifically cream when the T95 was spotted on low HP and travelling to the aforementioned grids you can see that he had zoomed way out to see what way the T95 was heading at 7:21 and decided not to just poke around the corner and take a potshot at his ass which could have finished him...I don't know why he decided against it)
As to the S-1...oh Jingles, you were not paying any attention to the team in the south were you? They had a grand total of 2 non-artillery tanks left and one was an IS so no view range there and the other was a scorpion-g along the cliffs, in other words plenty of blind spots for one of the stealthiest TDs in WoT to go right through the middle uncontested.
One thing to think about is the M48 fired only one round less than the M46 and did 2k less damage. If the M48 hit more of the shells and did 5k as well he would have made a profit
And that credit making potential is why I like warships more, cause it's not very hard to make a profit at t10 in that game even with full premium consumables in your load out

Premium food and other renewables round out the menu and I still have credits left to buy more premium shells. Spamming gold is SOOOOO much fun!
I like how at the end of the video you called him cream filled donut on that final kill lmao
Thanks jingles
Maybe its me.. who pay attention to smallest signs.. yet at 7:20 you clearly can see T95 heading down to pit where he can stay, or logically try get up to starting position.. since both ways to KFB base is blocked by two tanks.. :)
The Mighty Jingles, at 13:00 when Banana fired into the rock, I think he was afraid that arty might hit him. So in hopes of evading the shot, he fired into the rock to create a dust cloud in order to hinder the artilleries’ top down view.
he probably clicked by accident
I haz KV2. Stronk tank. Someday I'll have a Doomturtle. In fact the Doomturtle is the reason l started playing WOT. I'm plateau-ing on the Jackson for a while and easing into Tier 7 heavies notably the T29.
Hearing him say cream filled banana was so wrong but I liked it.
Everybody gangsta until a DoomTurtle starts being sneaky
The T-95 just went down the hill (you saw his direction going there as he disappeared) and then went up the hill on the other side.
Last time i was this early i saw something that mentally scarred me for life.
Arty mains?
Really enjoyed the tier-4-tier analysis and insight, would you consider making a series of videos in this direction ?
9:23 i thought jingles having a heart attack :D
One thing to think about is the M48 fired only one round less than the M46 and did 2k less damage. If the M48 hit more of the shells and did 5k as well he would have made a profit
LOL you called him cream filled donut at the end.
Thank you for this viedo Jingles :)
Sold the E100 and bought two Russian T IXs. It was a heat magnet. I felt like playing the FV4005 except with more hit points:)) big gun but no armor
5:01 After most of the other non-camping teammates have played half of their game, T95 is half way to the battle ground. lol
And that credit making potential is why I like warships more, cause it's not very hard to make a profit at t10 in that game even with full premium consumables in your load out
*looks up pontificate*
*german dictionary:* "yeah it means pontification" ... -.-
