interesting that the next gen 1.8 170hp with unlocked vmax can go 260+ quite smooth ( manual gearbox ) gearbox ot the turbo makes so much difference..

What are you talking about, it was really quick and easy from 100 to 160, it took a while from 180 to 220, but it's rarely anywhere you can get from 100 to 160 in few seconds legally. If you want to race, obviously buy a more expensive car that is meant to race, like some Porsche or Lamborghini, or modify/tune existing one.
Or buy a S or RS models, which are obviously more expensive.
