Shallow. Too many things left unaddressed. The issue goes back to the philosophy around yin and yang, the structure of families and clans, how clans used the cell system to spread their influence over territories. The framework of society wasn't addressed. That the legal tradion was distinct from common and civil laws traditions of the West not addressed. No mention of the approach to guilt and responsibility within the concept of the law being supplemental to existing moral values and traditions., or when responsibility was subject to judgment.

No. All these things you wrote are shallow. Or rather psychiatric cases of fear, greed , cruelty of abused and abusing social animals. All these to gain as much power as possible to transfer their genes to the next generation as broadly as possible. Behind all these you wrote - is just pure slavery to lowest biological urges. This is not even shallow, it is mud.

Yeah. Sure. Were men and women treated differently? Yes. Because men were carriers of the family name and clan, they represented the "line." Pure patriarchy. Their wives, their concubines, were incubators.
Women were stripped, paraded about, degraded so that every woman watching knew her "place."

This takes almost four minutes to communicate something that could be told in one.
