    Flawless execution by Asaf. I'm dying (each time) in the second part, when he starts chanting like a baptist preacher. And yes - the lyrics!

    Thank you for reacting to Asaf! His music, lyrics and voice are all mesmerizing. After watching his “Live at the Acropolis”, I promised myself, that the next time he goes on tour, that I would be attending a concert.

    Fastest click EVER seeing this come up in my feed. So happy to see that you emjoyed this one as well. That 5 or 6 layer vocal loop he builds near the end is really spectacular, because even a semitone off on any one of those layers could kill the entire structure, and he nails every one, one after another. Oke of my favorite performances ever
    🫡👍🏻🔥

    The Master of Looping - a true musical genius!
    It’s absolutely mind-blowing how Asaf builds all these layers LIVE using foot pedals, seamlessly turning them on and off in the moment, and throughout the song!
    He uses one microphone for his voice and another for his equipment, creating a striking dynamic contrast. When he steps closer to the mic, the looper captures his lower notes, and as he moves back, he effortlessly hits those higher tones.
    What an incredibly talented artist!
    This isn’t just a song; it’s a masterpiece of musical art. 💫
    Asaf is an exceptionally gifted artist, whose lyrics are deep, thought-provoking, and rich with metaphor. Combined with his mesmerizing voice, brilliant compositions, exceptional musicality, and originality, he truly embodies the complete package!
    Thank you, Orly, for requesting this phenomenal track!🙏
    And thanks to you, A-Aron, for such an amazing reaction and interpretation. 😍
    I loved every second of it!
    Keep going on this incredible journey - I’ll definitely be sending you some paid requests soon..

    Hi again A-Aron, thank you for your Asaf Reaction. Isn't he something else?? Asaf's songs are to be vague enough to get the point of the song but not the meaning (specifics). He has said before in an interview, (not word for word) Music is Art but the moment you explain the meaning behind the Art it's no longer Art its Entertainment. You are correct the song is about giving 900 days to their relationship. The bird is the female that he "saved" and gave her his all (900 days) of his All but she betrayed him in someway. He feels injured by her and the betrayal referring to the medical part where he says "No one has ever heard of 900 stitches, Just for Saving a bird" He also sings "No more can you hear me calling, (line not in the original songs) No more can you see me crawling. I know you know what my feet for. In the only lyrics I found are from the original song so is why it doesn't match up 100% to the In a box III Version. 🎶 The original also has a line right after that says I'm gonna use them for some walking" There are many versions of the same song 😊

    Asaf is one of Ren's fave artists. I would love for you to react to the live version of Small Change Girl, that I have posted below. I haven't seen anyone react to it and I think it is sublime. I love your breakdowns! th-cam.com/video/ZrVOcehCyCw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OW5dtIZQbyXHy2nr

    I appreciate his obvious talent, uniqueness, confidence and skills, but the musical style does not appeal to my ears or heart. I studied fine art, and there is a style in visual art known as "mannerist." It is typified by vertically elongated skinny figures, buildings or nature elements. It is not beautiful to look at. In fact, its aesthetic involves exaggeration, the mannerisms used in the art are employed to be overly expressive, it's like a different universe where everything feels off and the artist enjoys making you feel a little creeped out. In classical art, whether in music or visual art, there's greater balance, symmetry, harmony, a sense of beauty and proportion. People and objects are not exaggerated in their appearance to cause a sense of the unnatural, weird or grotesque like they are in mannerism. This is what this artist does when I hear him - we are supposed to enjoy the grotesque, the emotiveness of his singing style, the repetition of the musical structure. Unfortunately they are so distracting that I have no clue what it is that he's trying to tell me, what the story is about, or even what the purpose is of his style other than to stand out and get your attention.

      @uptnogd 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Wow you are the only one of who this song didn't appeal to your ears or heart. Especially the heart because no one brings out emotion through his music like he does, I understand he isn't for everyone but as I mentioned I have not met a single person who didn't love that Song. Even people who didn't listen to this type of music still loved it. I'm not sure I understood your reference to fine arts. I didn't realize we were comparing this Song to classical music. So am totally thrown back at that comment. Are you saying this song is like an ugly building? If so how can you compare a song to a building. That's like comparing a butterfly to a brick house. WEIRD!

      Well, as you put it - you clearly have no clue about any of the points you raised. Honestly, I’d describe your whole long message as messy, embarrassing, and just looking for attention..

      I appreciate you sharing your opinion on this man's music, I think I understand what you're saying (although I don't agree). It's still interesting to read other people's differing opinions! :)
      Asaf doesn't care one bit about being beautiful, or pretty, or sing correctly. He's not classically trained so you won't find balance, harmony and proportion in his music. That's exactly why I LOVE HIM. I don't want the pretty balance 😁😁 he's much closer to a real natural human being with ugliness, with pain, with his "mannerism" than any artist I've experienced before. I'm so happy for these artist breaking the mold 🤩🤩

    • @uptnogd
      @uptnogd 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Great Point @Irmelinis and very well said thank you! You are far more understanding than I am. @JD-rt5xs There was there no sensible reason to compare apples to oranges. What makes him so good at what he does is the fact that his lyrics, use of instruments no one has ever used before, teaching himself to play and puts EVERYTHING into his performance without trying to please anyone is A TRUE ARTIST. There is a real type of freedom that comes with achieving a goal for yourself and no one else, to write for yourself and no one else and to perform for yourself and no one else. It allows a true artist to express ALL their creativity without binds to tie them down. Its that kind of comparing that's wrong with America today (I would know bcz I am American) pressuring people especially our youth to be perfect instead of expressing their unique individuality and say to them that because your an ugly building they are never going to be beautiful. You were better off saying that it just isn't the type of music you would willingly listen to in your free time and left it at that. Instead you are stroking your own ego to show off you studied "The fine Arts" Seriously!?! I don't think anyone cares. Moreover, I am very insulted that you. described what I consider to be BEAUTIFUL as being grotesque, chaotic or overly exaggerated. Why ? Because I didn't study the Fine Arts ? I think you just couldn't keep up with all he was doing. Maybe you forgot the definition of art and if you had listened to what any of us had said You would have known that the lyrics are worded in a way so that each individual person can see it through their own eyes, their own experiences. What you want is the instruction manual when art has no instruction manual. A true artist can create art that you interpret through your own eyes, emotions and experiences. So a little advice if you want to not offend anyone else. Just say its not something you could get into and leave it at that!
