You see, just the fact that an Asian football player winning the Puskas award, golden boot in EPL, over 200 goals in top European level, captain for both his beloved club and country should be respected apart from all the other significant accolades he has earned. Don't get me wrong but it's like a black swimmer winning gold medal in Olympics or a white basketball player being the ace of the team. That is that hard and unusual or should I say finding a needle in beach sand. Son is that precious and good both in football and as a human being down to earth lad. I can easily see the outcome if he was European or South American. One of the few most underrated footballer in this era and by far, bar none the best there ever was after likes of Bum-Kun Cha, Hidetoshi Nakata and Ji-Sung Park. What an ICON! Love Son!
He is a legendary player and an incredible role model for everyone. I tell kids to follow Son for inspo and as an example of how a true gentleman and athlete should act. Glad to see more of these types of videos being done about Son.

He’s widely recognised as an elite player but I wouldn’t say it’s a race thing, I just feel like people forget because he plays for Tottenham let me not lie. 🙏

Son is the EPL assist #1 with 83, while #2 Eriksen trails at 82, and #3 Anderton at 67 now! His skills, leadership, and partnership with players are driving the team's success. One thing about him is how unselfish he is. I still remember the time when there was uncertainty surrounding Harry Kane and how there were rumours that he was going to Man City and it was during that time when Sonny extended his contract with Tottenham. Sonny was also the one who performed perfectly in the champions league match against City to lead them to the Semis. He has always showed up for the team whenever there is a dark cloud hovering above the club. He 100% deserves the Captaincy and I hope Tottenham extend his contact again and give him a salary increase (quite weird to not have your best and most loyal player not be the highest earner). Simply speaking, if he was not Asian, I think people would have already put him on a pedestal. His race is the only reason why he remains under the radar and super underrated which is tremendously unfortunate in today's age.

i think he's more like an unselfish ronaldo but without the headers. he has no weak foot, he has pace, he can dribble but he's also a fantastic playmaker who looks to get others involved. he can play any position up front.

2023 sons pressing in angeball is insane. most kms sprinted to press in the epl, and hes the only guy over 30 in the top 10 i believe. work ethic, professionalism, clubhouse figure, son is easily a tottenham legend, and quite possibly an epl icon. despite poor results in international stage except that liverpool finals that will haunt both tottenham fans and levy, (mourinho is laughing), i cant wait til one day his contributions to football as a sport is recognized. the mans at a age where he plays with those who idolized him in their youth systems, and still he can toast them like his best bud trippier. what a class act. i cant even describe my love for him, and it will be a sad day when his stamina depletes for the last time and he leaves england - within the next 10 to 20 years ofc

Either way, I think you made completely fair points and i think with his ability to do so many different skillsets, I agree that those would help carry him into the later stages i.e being a CF. I think credit also needs to be given to Son for stepping up that captaincy role since he's changed the dressing room and connected fans with players a lot more. You made solid points. 100% world class, even all time great players call him world class. Only thing I'd say is he is no doubt the best Asian player of all time. No one has achieved his level of success at the premier league aside from Park but Son is already leaving a huge wave of our youth getting scouted for the next Son or Kang In. You could argue Park obviously since I' m a huge fan of his as well but that's trophies vs records I guess.

Of course as a South Korean myself I think Son’s already brilliant and all, but even few years ago I used to pick on him for his bad touch, inconsistency..etc. Even though looking back during that season he still smashed in 13+ goals..😂 (was a joke of a statement fr). I’ve been speculating Son since I was 5th grade-only the OGs will know the ScoutNation TH-cam channel during that time- and that was during his 12/13 season in Hamburger SV. It’s astonishing to think that this young talent from a decade ago already achieved golden boot and stuff in the Prem, now already aged at 31. I just wish he could lift a trophy now tho.
