_"You think it's funny to take a child away from the only parents he's ever known?"_ Which parent is Stephanie talking about? The maid? The babysitter? The help spends more time with Little Eric than Rick does.
There's irony in Sally gloating that her family _gained_ a Forrester-in-name (Little Eric) when she'll soon _lose_ her company to a Forrester-in-name (Brooke).
Sally telling Stephanie & Eric, "You compartmentalize everything" (17:40) feels like a meta commentary on the show where even in the better-written years, the B storyline was often isolated and the Forresters never gave a damn about what was happening with Thorne and Macy.
All thoses fights and battles around Little Eric only to have him completely dissapear like he never exist and we have to suffer the spawn of brooke, hope...
A rare bit of (eyeroll inducing) character consistency: that useless dingus Eric has *nothing* to say in the opening scenes when Amber is spiraling out, until Amber (correctly) points out that things were fine until Brooke had the brilliant idea to take out a restraining order against Macy. Then Eric wakes up, literally interrupts Amber mid-sentence, and barks, “pointing fingers isn’t helpful!” Never change, Eric. Never change. 🙄
I don’t get it either. You get us all ready to see the conclusion of Macy/Amber fight. And we can’t even see the conclusion of it. Why post these episodes, but yet skip episodes, leaving us lost and confused. It’s annoying.
I love that the Forresters are all doom, gloom, and dysfunction, while the Spectras are all, yet another excuse to party! 😂. No wonder Little Eric likes them better. I did laugh at Eric and Stephanie interrupting Sally’s “villain arc” soliloquy. Poor Sally can’t have even 5 minutes to herself before the Forresters ruin it.
*Summary of the missing episode 4109* Because _of course_ this episode is missing, just like the best part of Macy's funeral (episode 3345). Amber and Macy are on the fIoor and Amber is doing her best reenactment of Ursula's wedding scene in _The Little Mermaid._ Rick and Deacon have to puII Amber away and get her out of the chapeI while Gladys gets everything on tape and dreams of an Oscar. Julie the lawyer is trying to tell Amber that she is only making things worse for herself. After Rick and Amber are gone, the wedding continues, with Deacon joking that at least it's not b or ing. They tell the minister that they want a quick ceremony in case there are more interruptions (Gladys calls it the McMarriage, and Deacon and Macy agree that's the one they want). Vows, rings, and they're done. Meanwhile, Amber makes an attempt to drive off with Little Eric, but is stopped by Julie the lawyer, who tells her that it is not good for Little Eric to see Amber Iashing out at Deacon and Macy, and that Amber's behavior may even be criminaI. Julie says that she has *filed the paper to reinstate Deacon as Eric's **_legal guardian_* (hello DisBeLieF storyline!). For the thirtieth time, Deacon and Macy try to reassure Amber and Rick that everything will be fine, it's just a one-week vacation. Macy gets Eric so he can say goodbye, and after Deacon and Macy leave with the child, Rick promises Amber that they will get him back. Brooke is with Ridge, talking about the wedding, and Ridge is very sympathetic (he should have seen her with Macy a few episodes ago). Ridge tells Brooke not to give up on the whole Rick and Amber and Eric situation (this is the most attention Brooke has given that kid in his whole life). Ridge wants to take Brooke for dinner but Nicky appears and says that he already has plans with Brooke. So Brooke goes out with Nicky instead. Steph and Samantha talk and we get a long and terribly interesting explanation 😴 of their retconned off screen history, and Samantha's entire life story, and a recap of Ridge losing Taylor. Apparently Samantha was their neighbor at one point, used to play sports with Ridge when they were kids (how were they even kids together when Samantha looks like she's not even 30?) and she is now an interior decorator (actual dialogue about a _lamp_ ensues). The little dog is just kind of there. Ridge shows up and tells his mother that Brooke is on a date with Nicky, and then he sees Samantha and it's a happy reunion -between two people who have never met.- They start playing with piIIows and it's exactly as contrived as it sounds. I guess we are supposed to see Sam as a potential love interest for Ridge because they were childhood friends or something. 🙄
When Sally cIaims Little Eric as her grandson, and says that Macy will "finally have justice" because of her marriage to Deacon, it is actually good continuity because back in 2000, the Spectras also connected the battIe with the Forresters for Little Eric to getting "justice" for Macy's death. Then, the Forresters managed to get Little Eric away from the Spectra family through Deacon, and now, the Spectras have got Little Eric _back_ from the Forresters through Deacon. The justice Sally is talking about now is the same one that she has been pursuing ever since Macy "died". (And she actually seems _more_ enthusiastic about the "vengeance" aspect of this wedding than Macy is, because it is an extension of her desire to avenge Macy's "death".)
Great point! This does indeed feel like a continuation of that custody storyline and so even though the writing and pacing is so rushed, at least Sally's motives and involvement feels less contrived. The show is always on stronger footing when it goes back to these core rivalries rather than the lame ones Brad tries to engineer (Massimo vs Eric, Ridge vs Nick, Macy vs Amber).
How is Rick supposed to have a better chance of getting custody of Little Eric if he divorces Amber? He would be a singIe father, with no biological connection to the child, and Amber was the one with the parental rights until recently. Rick was just the stepdad. Make it make sense.
Yeah, speaking from the legal corner here - that literally makes no sense for the reasons you enumerated, but also because she’s the only one with a biological connection to the child (cousin). There’s also a video of the child’s actual mother saying she wants Amber to have custody. She’d have to commit to anger management classes and all four of them would have to take mediation and conflict resolution, probably, but a divorce would be a terrible idea. It shows instability in the home where Little Eric grew up. One of Brad’s dumbest and laziest plotlines.
@@FayeIL Rick too had his doubts with that legal advice. I just don't get why these rich people never hire a team of attorneys and always just put their trust in one person. Jonathan's work before has already been lacking (threatening Deacon to stay away - but not lecturing them about the stalled adoption process and how the agreement that Deacon had signed before, might become meaningless )
they had Tricia and Samantha as Taylor fillers. It's too bad they didn't have Amber arrested for assault. Wasn't Amber supposed to raise Little Eric with CJ? Oh, Rick, Brooke just made a mountain out of a mole hill. Rick needs to get a divorce to prove he is a stable parent, and yet Deacon and Macy are married, and Deacon is the bio parent of Eric.
Amber assumes that Macy wants to take Little Eric away from him. And in these past few episodes, Macy has been saying things that sound like she is thre at ening to do that - but with an important distinction. These thre at s are _conditionaI_ - Macy says that _unless Amber gets it together,_ she will lose Eric. And, as it will turn out, this is actually what ends up happening. Amber will not controI herself, and because of that, she will lose her child due to putting his life in danger.
Samantha is way too young to be childhood friends with Ridge… and based on the events that will happen in season 17, Samantha is canonically in her early 30s, which Ridge is not. Ronn Moss looked young when he started on this show but his age is showing from this point on and so he just looks like an old man next to Sam… but I guess it’s an upgrade from him being paired with Bridget…
why not upload all the episodes at once. feel you can make it more interesting? i lost interesst... with all this artificial delays, missing episodes even seasons. i would think a pro is behind this channel but apparently not.
What happened to Jonathan?? I guess they fired him after he didn’t inform Rick and Amber that they didn’t have a leg to stand on unless they adopted Little Eric I mean if he was clear they wouldn’t have dragged their feet for so long Or been so shocked that Deacon still had rights.
Isn't it funny these Forresters are bad mouthing on Deacon and months from now he will help them with the shares of his son get the company back from Brooke hhhhh

Another pretty woman in town to outshine Brooke and for her to be jealous of.
Imagine two family trees fighting over a kid that's not even biologically theirs.

Eric is Brooke's biggest Stan. I'm surprised he didn't tell Amber, "You're just jealous! Brooke's outlasted everyone! Show your pic!"

Thanks for dragging that Jeff Ep stein lookalike (and act-alike) for me so I don't have to watch a scene with Amber.
