  • This event will explore the next frontiers in responding to forced displacement and fragility: emerging challenges, priorities, and solutions. This will include new mechanisms-such as the World Bank's concessional financing for countries hosting refugees and compacts that bring together development and humanitarian investments-that can reshape the international response to protracted refugee crises.

    I see people begging Ngozi to come back and help Nigeria. She will not come! And as a matter of fact, all our corrupt government officials do not want her to come because dem no go chop again. The rampant criminality of the Nigerian government is unable to host any one who wants to do good. If we want to attract talent, Nigeria needs to eradicate corruption and begin to uphold the rule of law. Talented Nigerians all over the world are waiting for this. Our problem is simple

    In response to Dr. Ngozi Iweala, the former Minister of Finance in NIgeria and Currently a World Bank Consultant. I would like to add some observations and points to her taught on the way to minimize corruption in Africa. In the areas of IMF, World Bank financial assistance to any developing nations, the various organisation should adopt and recommend any Expert for Infra-structure and Construction as a way to stop the de'facto cash provision to any developing nation that is seeking money to build it's Infra- structure. B'cause many a times that money is being disbursed to them,the same money end up in the pocket of the government official without the desire result. And at the end of the days,the people are being forced to pay back the Loan through taxation or deprivation of their mean's of livewood. Also in the area of returning of ill-gotten funds from the leaders of the developing nations, i would recommend a proper channeling of the funds to develop agriculture, education and jobs creation and make the government of the day to sign and undertaken that funds would be utilize for such economic needs of the people. These steps is strictly adhere to would help to alleviate some of the suffering of the nation. Attention: Center for Global Development.

    We need to raise our own African POLITICS, We need to forge and form our own POLITICS, we need to have more than three organs of govt instead of three. A new OAU should be installed to take care and affairs of the African new govt in which our minerals, forestries, and our natural resources must be TAKEN OUT OF THE HAND OF PRESIDENTS. Africa GOVT SHOULD HAVE UP TO THREE TO FIVE PRESIDENTS AND THREE IN EACH COUNTRY FOR A PERFECT AND NO MISTAKE IN GOVERNANCE.

Because our ancestors want to keep the rest of the population in abject poverty and use them during elections.

    What is great about this? Everything she was saying is true, but, she cannot tell me that, Nigeria and she know how to guide against this, but they turned their back, all because they had their salaries, their families are okay, they have no heart for the poor. If anyone has a heart, that person will not engage in this corruption going on in Nigeria. First Bank of Nigeria has been existing before I was born. till now, corruption is limited. I have no interest in all this book. All I want to know is that is anything going to be done. Then these people interviewing the lady, are they capable to assist Nigeria. The way I understand is It is a joke, not important. People can live in Nigeria and continue to go with suffering and even died. but they should remember that this book was out to create change

      kenneth allen : you coin out bible verses to suit your argument. Have you asked your elders how many millions of people died in 1967 due to Biafra war? Fast forward to the present Nigeria as a country will not allow annexation of any part of its territory.
      So it’s better you wise up early and seek national interest devoid of tribalism and the likes. It sets us back 100s of years and doesn’t allow for progression.

    • @kennethallen9811
      @kennethallen9811 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@onelove6971 .Hi onelove,we know how many people who died as a result of British, Egypt, Russia,OAU and UN genocide on Biafra.we didn't fight with nigeria. If we had fought with Nigeria,nigeria would have vanished from the map of Africa.Our concern now is to prevent and make sure that Biafrans will not suffer any more.
      If you are sincere to your self,take a trip to Biafra.Biafrans were given only 20£ irrespective of how much money we had in the bank.then look at nigeria and Biafra.who fares better? Onolove,nigerians right now are refugees in nigeria.how many millions of almajiris in nigeria irrespective of hundreds of billions of dollars stolen by their masters.well, preaching the messages of liberation is foolishness to those who are not reasonable because they will never understand the benefit of freedom.like Dr king says, "they will perish together as fools"
      "my people perish because of lack of wisedom"a prophet of God said. why do you want to live with those who says education is an abomination, they don't want to develop and frustrate others who wants to develop?
      If any of you lacks wisedom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault,and it will be given unto you.James 1:5.
      The wisedom of Biafrans is from God.we shall be free because the son of God,Jesus Christ has set us free. Any stumbling block must be crushed. All the people who does not want Biafra will not see it."The battle is mine says the lord"we are going by the song not by the sword. Watch and see what's going to happen.
      The walls of Jericho and the walls of Berlin fall not by bullets.The chains of evil people on Biafra is broken.we are free,we are free,we are free.sing unto the Lord a joyful song,we are free.we are free,we are free.

      kenneth allen : spend your energy seeking the kingdom of God. Jesus is at the door. It is too late to start chasing worldly accomplishments. The time on earth is very limited. Use your time to store up for yourself treasures in heaven. The signs of Christ return is everywhere. Do not be taken be surprised but be ready and share the goodnews.

      Saa Saa,it seems you were not yet born during the Nigeria/Biafra war,how your Igbo brothers were slaughtered like chickens and the rest starved to death.Those who did that are deliberately suffering another generation of Biafrans who never saw the war.Let me tell you the more you promote one Nigeria, the more chance you give the Fulani people to opportunity to exterminate us.They have Islamic agenda which they want to use force to execute.However,we thank God who preserved a remnant of Biafrans to Himself, and finally send Nnamdi Kanu to accomplish the restoration of our Nation Biafra.Nnamdi Kanu as it were is the only nightmare of the Islamic Caliphate.
