Yet another heartbreaking chapter. Odysseus keeps getting on my nerves, I hate that attitude of his. Boys went through a lot, both had to witness a traumatic death. I loved how Madeline portrayed Achilles as someone so caring and kind, he wasn't a killing machine like we would imagine :(

I like this potrail of Odysseus. In all other stories, I know, he is a hero, the best, so clever and smooth.
Asoa shows a perspective, that lets me see how cold and cruel a smartass seems, when you are not in his favor. For the greeks overall he was a win, but individual Odysseus would damage them for the cause. Here his non acaknowledgement of responsibility is enraging. He gave this cousil...

I agree. She did a great job! I tired to listen to the one on Audible but the narrator didn't put any emotion or anything else in the reading. I stopped listening to it after 2 chapters. I'm so happy she uploaded herself reading this amazing book! ❤️
