You are right on the money. I got my 2024 LC convertible 16 months ago and love it. I was waiting for the touchscreen. What I am amazed with is the quality of the materials. Compared to my previous cars (911, f-type, c63, granturismo…), Lexus really is a step above. Main reasons i bought mine are styling, v8 sound with top down and exclusivity. Living in LA, I rarely see another LC, I see 911s everywhere. Perfect creamy daily driver. Great video 👍
I feel the rear steer in this car makes a large difference in how it handles. The earlier 2018-2020 models came with pads that have better bite but they dusted a lot. People complained so they got rid of them. I test drove a 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018 and ended up with a 2019 with the rear steer.
Hi, Jake. I enjoy your channel a great deal, and I'm with you 💯 on the stunning color scheme. For back in the 1960's, the Europeans embraced copper colors on rare occasions. And I too love that sonorous V8. Aviation grade. Finally, I wish you 20K subscribers coming soon! 🫶🏻🙏🏻👍🏻🌈
@@OutMotorsports In fact, Mercedes-Benz showed a 1968ish copper colored 280SE coupe at a show in this country, I think. After quite a lot of haggling, a guy bought it off the display floor. The car got a new owner and a partial restoration; keeping its original patina intact. Love & light during these brutal times. And I love 💗 Lexus…
The only two downers about this car are the Brake-By-Wire system (malfunctions reported on the Lexus forums) and the pedestrian protection Pop-Up hood which (if engaged) is criminally expensive to replace!

Such a cool and rather underrated car. Shame though Lexus was never let loose to build an LCF out of this.
Good point
6:51, yes that is what I was waiting for!

the LC500 with rear wheel steering option is excellent for windy roads and canyon roads. Try it. you will change your mind.
Great video! Thanks!

Copper is kinda-sorta coming back! We've seen it on more than just Lexus in recent years and I'm a fan! And thank you... 20k here we come :)

Welp. Looks like I'll be picking up a 2024 LC convertible in the used market. (Probably when it goes under 60k. lol)
i wish the convertible was a hardtop like the SC430
I have no idea if I like this color or not
