ਦਾਸ ਨੇ 1962-65 ਤੱਕ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ। ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੀਰਤਨ, ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ, ਰੀਤਾਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਾਈਆਂ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਪਛਾੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਿਆ, ਬੇਸ਼ਕ ਵਧੀਆ ਕੀਰਤਨਏ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਹਨ।
